Hostel holiday rentals in North Africa

This is probably the nicest hostel experience I ever had. Everyone working there is chill, friendly, and extremely helpful. Plenty of activities in the shared spaces and you can perfectly work there too, thee is a quiet coworking space on one of the floors. They do their absolute best to keep spaces and bathrooms clean - huge thanks for that. Every night at 8 they serve free pasta for all the guests and it’s honestly unheard of. The level of kindness is beyond anything I’ve expected. Sharing room with 3 ppl is also pretty easy. Lots of space and a good AC to have some air circulation. I would definitely go back!

La chambre est propre et agréable, avec un balcon très appréciable. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil. Les femmes de ménage passent tous les jours, elles sont serviables et souriantes. Chrissa est une personne exceptionnelle : toujours à l’écoute, attentionnée et prête à rendre service. On sent qu’elle fait tout avec le cœur. Elle donne de très bons conseils pour les visites et les activités à faire dans la région. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande vivement !

Super schöne Unterkunft, sehr dicht am Surfspot, gute Möglichkeiten um Wetsuits aufzuhängen und Boards aufzustellen. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei großen Fenstern zum Meer, was super schön war. Die Atmosphäre war sehr familiär, wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Great place clean. Buffet breakfast on terrace. 8mins from Gare Oasis train station. Snack ace 5mins away and 5mins tramline.

I would go back to this place, when I visit Portimao again.

Carob Hostel is awesome, it's very well designed, within walking distance to downtown and close to all the popular coffee shops, restaurants, dessert places. The hostel crew were very friendly and helpful, they gave me a lot of really useful travel tips. I highly recommend this place!

I was really honored being the valuable guest of Yehya , he's truly a superhost and ambassador of egyptian nation , he's professional caring and always keen to help , the location is as mentionned clean and tiddy and has all the equipements required for a little price , he's so generous that he invited me to have coffee and even advised the nearby market / coffee shop to take good care of me , what shall I say more then that I'm really grateful and blessed spending my nights and days there I highly recommend Badr from Algeria

The most awesome stay. Mazen is very nice. The place is easy to find, you just need to enter a small corridor where the large clothing market is and a large sign will be found of the Hostel. Bring a lock for your belongings, or pay 2JD!

Great hostel with lovely engaged staff, fun activities and right by the beach. Made some new friends here, absolutely worthwhile!

The dormitory in the first floor are pretty quiet (rooms with 6 or 8 beds). The rooftop is the place to meet and exchange recommendations, great view there. The staff at reception are always available to answer any questions you may have and always means 24/7. The only less nice thing is the dormitory on the ground floor. It's very close to reception and there's usually a lot going on there. I was glad that I was able to move to the first floor after the first night.

Where to start ? I had an amazing stay here, at Ruth’s and Youba’s home. The energy of the home is amazing and very quiet. Beautiful décoration too. Wow, this hostel is the nicest hostel I've ever seen! Carmen and Anna received me with great hospitality and were always there to help and advise me during my stay! The hostel is beautifully and lovingly decorated and cleaned every day! The terrace is just a dream, whether to relax, eat or work! I can also recommend the hostel for longer stays! In my room, unfortunately, the traffic noise of the busy street could be heard, but this was not a problem with earplugs at night. ;) If you want to have a very quiet room, it is best to use one of the two rooms facing the terrace (just look at Óscar's profile or ask Óscar directly). The location of the hostel is great for exploring the island. It is best to rent a car directly at the airport, so you are most flexible on site and in about 10 minutes at the beach. Alternatively, there is also a bus station directly in front of the door. My stay was amazingly beautiful and I highly recommend this hostel!

clean . easy .at the center of the town .plenty of space in the capsule .nice toilets .nice kitchen . things to improve - a little bit of dust in some areas around the capsules and in the lockers . could be less costly. great experience!!!
