Barn holiday rentals in North Africa

I cannot say enough good things about the space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The bed and lounging areas were very comfortable. The outdoor areas were beaylutiful and we'll maintained. The owner checked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would love to return and would definitely recommend.

Vi havde et meget dejligt ophold i huset. Vejret var ikke godt i perioden omkring den 28. - 31. oktober. Det var ugen med Regn, torden og lyn, som jo blev en katastrofe for andre steder i Spanien - især Valencia. De første fem dage (22.-26. okt.) var vi i huset med vores 7 ansatte - studietur, hvor vi bl.a. besøgte Alhambra. Vi startede hver dag med yoga udendørs og sprang i poolen bagefter - skøn oplevelse for alle! Da familien tog over (uge 2) og vejret skiftede, sørgede Ma Carmen for, at varmen blev skruet op og vi fik brænde til pejsen. Vi havde det meget hyggeligt i huset med vores børn og børnebørn, til hvem vi havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for af børnesenge, - stole og legetøj - der manglede ikke noget! Der var dejligt sengetøj og tæpper til alle. Landskabet og huset er enormt smukt og næsten hver dag oplevede vi hyrden med sine geder, får og hunde på bjergsiden - meget fascinerende! Vejen op til huset kræver en god bil!! Det er en meget smal og snoet bjergvej!

Wir waren tolle 4 Wochen bei Esta und ihren Tieren zu Gast. Würden gerne wieder dort Urlaub machen. Die Lage und die Ausstattung / das ganze Häuschen waren einfach super schön. Grossen Dank an Esta das wir als Gäste da sein dürften. Die Tiere sind alle sehr zutraulich. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Gruss Moni+Patrick

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu qui a une âme mise en valeur par Claudio et Michaela. La maison est agréable et remplie de belles histoires autour de la rénovation de ce magnifique moulin. Nous espérons revenir et le recommandons vivement. Merci beaucoup et à une prochaine fois j'espère !

We stayed in this beautiful home which was full of soul and character with top quality furnishings and comfortable beds and bed linen. The swimming pool and garden were equally beautiful and the scent of jasmine from the tree in the courtyard was enchanting.

The house was clean, the garden was nice and the location was really good. We also appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier. Some things could be improved. The garden furniture and barbecue were rusty, and a lot of the kitchen stuff wasn’t very clean. The bed was quite hard and small if you are taller than 1.75. With a bit more care it could be a much more comfortable stay. Overall it was an okay stay and we enjoyed the surroundings.

The pictures can only give an idea how special this place is. The house was clean, well equipped and the pool is awesome. The house is in a tiny valley in the middle of a Banana plant together with just a few more houses. This makes it very quiet and gives you a lot of privacy. We had a fantastic time. Bring good binoculars. If you follow the whale watching boats, you will be able to see the whales. On the street: Yes -it is steep and scarry. But you can get used to it. Our recommendation is to rent a small car with reasonable horse power engine. The challenging aspect of the street leading to the house is managing opposite traffic, requiring one vehicle to reverse either up or down the steep and narrow road. During a week-long stay, this situation did not occur, and the likelihood is very low. A suggestion for the landlord would be to install signaling to indicate when a car is on the road or to consider implementing lights similar to those in place at construction sites.

Un séjour parfait dans l'agroturismo de Cristina. Nous sommes arrivés très en retard suite à des soucis de vol. Cristina nous a attendu pour nous accueillir. Ses conseils de visite ont été très précieux pour organiser notre séjour. Un grand merci pour tout Cristina. Nous vous recommandons ce lieu pour visiter la Sicile.

We had a fantastic stay at the Olive Farm. It was a beautiful location with stunning views over the national park and reservoir. The pool is very private and catches the sun all day. The apartment itself was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast each morning was a treat and it is only a short walk from the small town. We even had a tour of the olive oil production line. Thank you for a very relaxing stay!

Such a special accommodation in the middle of nature. Although there are a few other apartments on the grounds, it feels like you’re on your own. The hosts were there if we needed anything and the apartment had everything that you could need for a stay in a remote place. If you need a break from your busy life, this is definitely the place for you!

What a stay! The photos just don’t do it any justice. A peaceful, idyllic beautiful place. I was totally looked after too from the moment of my arrival. Everything you could need and more is to hand. I changed a day trip just so I could spend more time there relaxing. I also had one of the best night sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and I will definitely be booking again some time in the winter to make use of the beautiful wood burner in the room.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the local village. It was refreshing to be away from the usual tourist traps and truly immerse ourselves in the local culture. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to unwind completely. We were delighted to find that it was just a short trip away from beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, and exciting local attractions (minutes by car) . Our children, aged five and nine, had an absolute ball! They especially loved feeding the animals, which added an extra layer of magic to our stay. The WindMill House is truly a hidden gem. The combination of its idyllic country setting, the exceptional hospitality of our host make it an unbeatable choice for anyone seeking good value and a relaxed, authentic stay.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Giovanni bzw. Gertrud und Pippo. Der Check-in verlief absolut problemlos. Gertrud und Pippo haben sich viel Zeit genommen um uns alles zu erklären und standen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung und gaben uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Unterkünfte waren wie beschrieben und haben uns absolut gefallen. Auch bei der Sauberkeit gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Am meisten genossen haben wir die Ruhe.

Miguel était très soucieux de nous voir passer un excellent séjour. Il a été un hôte parfait, tant par son accueil, sa disponibilité et ses attentions et ses conseils. Nul besoin de se déplacer à l’office du tourisme, toute la documentation est présente dans le logement. La grange a été rénovée avec beaucoup de soin, de goût et chaque détail a été pensé. Chaque élément de décoration rend l’ensemble parfait, jusqu’aux fleurs fraîches. La cuisine est très très bien équipée et nous avons pu cuisiner de nombreux plats avec tous les ustensiles et accessoires à disposition. Le mobilier (canapé, lit) est très confortable. Tout était par ailleurs très propre et bien rangé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme environnant. Nous reviendrons avec joie lors d’un prochain séjour à Tenerife.

A farm stay in the middle of the country, very quiet and peaceful, complete with pool! Perfect hosts, great breakfasts, very warm and welcoming hosts. Our accommodations were perfect, great farm / Italian style locations. The location great for day trips up and down the coast.

Logement très mignons à 30 minutes de Seville en voiture (nécessaire). Au milieu d'une belle propriété avec jardins et ateliers de céramique, c'était vraiment un lieu magique et serein. La décoration de la maisonnette est faite avec goût et il y a tout les équipement de base pour quelques jours en voyage en Andalousie. Il faut néanmoins forcément une voiture pour se déplacer et attention à la difficulté du parking dans Seville (surtout pendant les ferias). Je recommande vivement !

En principio pensé que trataba directamente con los propietarios pero fue con un intermediario. Tanto Ana (la intermediaria) como los propietarios estuvieron en todo momento pendientes de nosotros. Robert y Pascalle son una pareja holandesa muy agradable y cariñosa. La casa es tranquila y no le falta ningún detalle. Muy recomendable.

We loved our stay at The Cairn! It is super-spacious, creatively decorated and set in lovely surroundings. And it has loads crockery and cutlery! Carl was wonderful.

Just what we needed for a weekend break to switch off. The place is extremely peaceful and feels very private despite being part of a larger complex. Everything was clean and as described. If you want a relaxing stay in the countryside with good restaurants and entertainment a 45 minute drive away then this is the place for you. Robert is friendly, responsive and helpful.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Palazzo Acreide. Nous avons était très bien accueilli pas Laura et son mari. Nous étions 3 familles et chaque logement indépendant permettait à tout le monde de se sentir chez soi. La partie commune est vaste avec une cuisine très bien équipée. Le logement est bien situé permettant de rayonner dans le sud est de la Sicile avec tous les villages baroques aux alentours et les plages à 50mn. Nous n’avons rien à redire, tout était parfait!
