Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nordstrand

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

Everything a vacationer could want is there! Very clean, good beds, a kitchen where you can cook as a self-caterer, a living room to relax, a large terrace with comfortable garden furniture and cushions. A lot of peace and beautiful sunsets that you could enjoy on the couch, at the window. We recommend this beautiful home to "everyone" who likes the north without hesitation! The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and even had the good fortune to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

We were warmly greeted by the neighbor upon arrival and instructed in everything important. The house was perfectly clean and even better than in the photos. The bedroom on the first floor was not open as shown in the photos but a separate room, which was perfect for our daughter. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and were also very happy about the welcome gifts. Even the "Easter bunny" had thought of us and hung something on the front door. We fully recommend the place.

We were already the third time at Jana's, and it was once again fantastic - exactly according to our needs for rest and relaxation; very nice cottage on an old dike, around it actually only sheep. Very idyllic and beautiful.

The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail and immediately conveys a homely and inviting feeling. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained upon our arrival. Eva & Roy were always easy to reach, extremely friendly and very helpful – you feel well looked after all around. The location is also great: a small supermarket is about a five-minute walk away, the train station is about ten minutes away, and the city center can be reached in less than 20 minutes. Perfect for starting excursions from here. Overall an absolutely recommended place to stay!

Beautiful accommodation, modern and Nordic furnishings. Quietly located near the supermarket but also quickly at the sea or in the village. Nicole was very proactive in taking care of everything that was important to us. Since we had fabulous weather, we could enjoy the fantastic garden and sit in the beach chair for a long time in the evening. Our days were too short to make the most of everything... Thank you for letting us into the house earlier, we were very grateful for that. Very quiet, only the cuckoo woke us up early 😀

We liked the apartment very much! The space was comfortably furnished and everything was clean! The surroundings are really nice and you can do a lot of business. The hosts were very friendly and always easy to reach. The apartment is definitely recommended!🙂

The tastefully furnished apartment "Unter den Sternen" on the edge of Husum's old town is ideal as a starting point for bike tours in North Frisia. The Halligen, the Eiderstedt peninsula and the picturesque Friedrichstadt are just around the corner. Even Schleswig can be reached in a day trip. And of course, Husum itself is worth a visit: the harbor, the North Sea Museum, the Stormhaus and endless culinary addresses! The very friendly hosts are happy to provide tips.

My best Airbnb experience so far! The apartment is really nicely designed and was super clean, bed linen and towels available and also fresh. The location is very quiet, but all shops and bakeries are within walking distance. We had the garden all to ourselves, it is safely fenced and super nice to relax and grill. I have a dog that is afraid and she was also able to feel safe and comfortable in the apartment. When we arrived, there were even a few chilled drinks and snacks ready, as well as a few small things and toys for the dog. Bente was always quickly reachable and very nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable and are grateful that we were able to spend such a nice time there. We would definitely come back!

Very nice apartment, very tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet location. Perfect mattresses, safe and comfortable parking, pleasant neighborhood, ideally located to explore the northernmost part of Germany. We would be happy to come back and would absolutely recommend the apartment.

We had wonderful days with the three of us plus our dog on Pellworm and at this wonderful place to stay. Everything was straightforward, just like the whole island and the inhabitants. Great garden invites you to linger. We thank Donata very much for this place and will be back.

Everything worked out great, beautiful apartment in the center of Husum (old town). The host informed us extremely pleasant and uncomplicatedly, or supported us! Husum is definitely worth a trip and is ideal as a starting point for the North Sea and the Halligen. We will be happy to come back! ☀️😊

The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Perfect also for holidays with kids (crib, high chair, even outlet covers everywhere and toys!). A great playground is near. We were received in a very friendly manner and always had contact persons if necessary. We fully recommend the place!

There were four of us + toddler in Stephan's accommodation and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is beautiful and quiet, absolutely sparkling clean and incredibly well equipped. This is where you can only feel comfortable!

We had a very nice stay. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired! The beach is within walking distance and the beach chair was great. Communication was fast and reliable. We would book again and again :)
