Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Norden

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

It was all to our complete satisfaction! Exactly what we imagined for our honeymoon. It was quiet and relaxed, you could really switch off there. The house was very high quality and clean. Simply chic! We felt very comfortable. Natalia was always available, you always felt in good hands. She also always informed us about possible activities or restaurants and Lolale. Nothing negative can be said! It was just perfect!

The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and even had the good fortune to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

We had a great stay in the "Inselkieker"! Everything was exactly as described and in great condition. It was very clean and modernly furnished. The beds were comfortable and big. We were particularly pleased with the selection of toys for the children and the great play area in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

Only one night, but full of impressions. Rysum welcomed us with its quiet beauty, and the "Alte Bäckerei" was a very special place to arrive and feel good. Furnished with a lot of love and a lot of taste, the listed house radiates a warm, honest atmosphere - you can feel its history. And for me as a person trained in the craft, I particularly liked the artistic master's certificate of the former resident, when I compare it with my dry journeyman's certificate (but also almost 100 years later). Thank you for this little break in a great place and a great village.

We spent an extended family weekend with 7 women from 3 generations (12-62) at Eva's in Emden. The house was perfect for it. During the day, smaller activities in the area, shopping facilities within walking distance, in the evening cooking together and cozy game evenings in a beautiful ambience. We felt completely comfortable and were all a little in love with the house. The contact was friendly, uncomplicated and we always received a quick response. Even the neighbors greeted us kindly and asked if we liked it. We would come back anytime. Thank you again for everything.

Behind a large old tree population on a huge plot of land separated from the main house, stands this small cottage. It offers everything you need. A small kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a cozy bed. You don't have to do without comfort, just as you don't have to do without a nice interior. Bianka and Sven are very nice reserved hosts and always there when you need them. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

Beautiful home and incredibly friendly people helpful and very welcoming. But one note if you have a dog you have to look for a place to let them run freely. Incidentally, a big thumb!!!!

Great amenities for a holiday with a child! Only the defective blackout or the very translucent blackout in the bedroom should be improved once - very important for most babies to sleep well.

There were three of us in Jan's apartment. It was great. Everything was so beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. It was all sparkling clean. The check was super easy and fast. The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

Modern, bright, spacious and very clean apartment, equipped with everything you need. The apartment is very quiet, with a terrace and views over the fields. Large, modern bathroom, and the windows all have fly screens (you can sleep with the window open without worry). Good starting point for excursions and bike tours. If we go on holiday to Krummhörn again, we will definitely ask for the apartment, because we felt very comfortable - to which the friendly hosts also contributed. From us 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked the accommodation of Geesje for our colleague. He loved the place. Geesje is a nice hostess and has proactively responded to our request. We will be happy to come back.

I had a really nice stay in this idyllic, dreamy house in the middle of nature. Perfect for unplugging. I was particularly enthusiastic about the hostess' self-painted art. My room and the house are very lovingly furnished. Breakfast is a highlight with homemade rolls, fruit, homemade jams, etc. I felt very comfortable here with the tranquility, nature and really great hospitality!

We had a very nice stay. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired! The beach is within walking distance and the beach chair was great. Communication was fast and reliable. We would book again and again :)

Very nice and clean apartment in the center of Carolinensiel. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Shops, restaurants, café, harbor and sea within walking distance. Very friendly hosts with clear and accurate information. The check in via key box was very convenient. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.

We had a wonderful vacation in a very good neighborhood. Natalie's apartment had Nordic flair and we immediately felt comfortable. As a host, you couldn't ask for a better one than Natalie. She always responded quickly and kindly. Everything was great and we can go back to everyday life relaxed and with good memories (even if it is difficult🫣)

I was here for the second time, and I liked it very much again. Sabine is very courteous and attaches great importance to personal care and approach. The apartment is beautiful, well equipped, especially in the kitchen there is absolutely nothing missing. The private garden with sauna is the icing on the cake. I will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Communication was very good right from the beginning. The Werkmeister family responded to our check-in/out requests and always got back to us without having to ask. Just great. The apartment is quiet but centrally located. Everything is within a few minutes' walk. Everything has been lovingly furnished and there is everything you need. The apartment was clean and tidy and we felt really comfortable. Unfortunately, it was over way too soon. Thanks for a great getaway.

Very, very nice apartment with a great location and nice hosts! We had a wonderful vacation in this apartment! The apartment is cozy and comfortably furnished and very clean. The kitchen is very nicely equipped, and we found everything we needed. The location is simply perfect, quiet and yet central with a direct view of the sea. We were able to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets on the large terrace in a cozy atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable. This apartment is perfect and highly recommended
