We greatly enjoyed the cozy farmhouse with a family of 5. It is tastefully decorated and there were plenty of towels etc. Everything is fresh and clean. The house is extremely quiet and offers a lot of privacy. And from the house we were in the center of Lille within 20 min. We liked the combination of peace and yet close to a nice city. Ann Sophie always responds within minutes and proactively provided information. We greatly enjoyed the stay!

Very pleasant and relaxing stay. Once we entered the garden of the cottage, we lost track of time and were able to fully enjoy the place to relax. Fanny is very friendly and makes a point of honor that everything is perfect.

Suzanne and her partner were very friendly for the duration of the stay. Their garden is beautiful. I recommend this peaceful place in nature without a noise.

This was our second stay at Suzanne's and again we had a great time. She is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The room and breakfast were both lovely. Would recommend if you are in Bergues.

Pascaline and her husband were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. Since we don’t speak French, there was a bit of a language barrier, but nothing seriously problematic. Both Pascaline and her husband speak some English, which was enough for basic communication, and for anything more complex, translation apps were very helpful. The surroundings are unbelievably peaceful, with a few horses on the property that add to the special atmosphere. Breakfast was simple — a typical French breakfast — but very tasty and fresh. It was prepared at a time that suited us, which we appreciated. The time of year (early May) was perfect for our stay. If life gives us another opportunity, we would gladly visit them again.

It was lovely to revisit Nadine's beautiful house and catch up with Nadine and her friendly dog Tom " who remembered us from our visit last year" Nadine's breakfast set us up for our long journey south, all home produce, even fresh eggs from Nadine's chickens. We were delighted with our stay at this listing. The hosting was particularly warm and thoughtful. The two bedrooms, located side by side, were spacious, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The residence is very quiet, ideal for a relaxing stay. The owner was extremely kind and available throughout our stay. A delicious homemade breakfast was served to us in the morning, a real pleasure. We highly recommend this address and will be happy to come back.

We had a great time during our stay. The welcome was very warm the owners welcomed us and explained everything to us. I thought it was very friendly. Good value for money, breakfast service was great. I recommend it 100% for a magical romantic moment.

Great host welcomed us warmly. Lovely place very clean and tidy. Gardens immaculate. Would come here again. He even drove us to the shop so we could get some food. Couldn’t ask for better hosts.
