There are 2 walking routes through the forest. The chalet is close to the amenities of the park, but in a quiet location where you can easily retreat. The chalet has a beautiful outdoor space where you can sit outside even in bad weather under the spacious canopy.

In our beautiful gated privacyful garden you will enjoy the many bird species.

For those who enjoy being surrounded by nature, this peaceful chalet is the ideal place to relax. The chalet is very private and set in an orchard of just over a third of a hectare. (A pûnsmiet is an old Friesian word for a third of a hectare). It is a perfect place for those who want to indulge their creativity in writing or drawing. The beautiful views towards the dyke and into the orchard are unique in this Friesian landscape, where the sunsets are spectacular and ever changing.

Located right below Drachten, you can be in the center in less than 10 minutes by bike. Or bike in 15 min. e.g. to the beautiful Beetsterzwaag and visit one of the galleries, gardens or the woods.

A beautiful wooden house located in my parents' yard. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feel when the trees change color or seek out the coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified city of Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.
