Snow Country Food and Accommodation Experience in a Snowy Land-type House (Staying without meals is also possible!)

DivaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a truly wonderful stay with the hosts. They are very kind, energetic and enthusiastic people! They put in a huge amount of effort to show me around the area and shared the beauty of Tokamachi with me. We shared meals together and it was absolutely worth the tiny additional cost, the food is the most delicious home cooking in Japan. It is a spot to take a break from the big cities and to slow down and feel peaceful. Thank you so much for hosting me!

We were looking for a stopover to visit friends in the neighbourhood and had an excellent stay here. Very friendly and well communication and lots of information about the area. They pick you up and bring you to the translation. All very friendly and lovely home feel even if it the room is above a business living room. Nice area to walk around, there is a 7-11 and a beautiful shrine and really old "fire-huts". We had fantastic ramen around the corner. When the rain started they gave us umbrella's. Recommend. Thank you.

Right on the beach! We have a cozy lounge, sauna.

we were really only there to stay overnight and that worked out perfectly. The house is practically by the sea, there is a road in between and also the train is nearby, does not bother at all. you have to be used to sleeping on hard floor, which are futons. For us what it wanted and ok. Thank you for the nice hospitality dear Koichi.

The landlord is a very interesting person, he helped me arrange a travel plan, taught me how to fish, and drove me to many famous attractions on the island. Finally, when I left the island, he also took me to the port, very kind. The room is new, very clean, the house is in a quiet residential area, very close to Lawson convenience store and the coast, very suitable for holidays.Recommended to everyone who wants to visit Sado Island!

[welcome Me. inn] Night at the complex exchange base of the city of Monozukuri @ Sanjo

LeoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The spacious room is decorated in a lovely Japanese style, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived later than planned, they warmly welcomed us. Additionally, while parking isn't included on-site, a convenient parking lot is available just steps away.

Three of us used it.It was also close to the station, and it was very helpful for three people because it was difficult to use a business hotel. The room is also clean and spacious enough, and I am satisfied.Thank you very much.

HOSTEL Tatsumiya Dormitory-style Room 1 & 2, 5-minute walk to the Sado International Triathlon venue

福井Rating, 5 stars4 months ago
It was a very pleasant space. I think the staff is also kind and there is an atmosphere where you can easily ask if there is anything you don't understand. It's a short walk, but there are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner. For breakfast, I recommend Saredo Onigiri, which is about a 10-minute walk from here and is open from 6 am. Of course, you can also bring food and drinks from outside the inn. It was once the castle town of Kawahara Castle, so it's fun to walk around and find the remains.
