Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Our apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with the most important comforts. Easy to heat, cooking facilities incl. pots, pans, oven/microwave and crockery and a refrigerator. TV, Wifi, private shower and toilet (small bathroom) , 2 separate bedrooms upstairs with 1 single and 1 double bed. Cot and toys are also provided. It has its own front door, private terrace, little insight and walking distance to a lot of amenities. Information folder on activities in the area is available.

B & B De Rozengracht

Our B&B is located in a lovely garden on the city canal of the historic town of Doesburg, close to the city center and the IJsselkade. Free parking can be done on our own, enclosed property, bicycles can be covered. You can enjoy the nice place on the water and the garden shed. Breakfast is waiting for you in the fridge. In Doesburg you will find nice restaurants, shops and museums. Or visit the Achterhoek, Veluwe, Arnhem and Zutphen, a nice mixture of culture and history !

Als je logeert in een boom, dan ga je even op in het leven van de boom. Je voelt heel sterk het ritme van de dag en nacht in de natuur. Je komt tot rust als je meebeweegt op dit ritme. De vogels die de dag inluiden en de vogels die de nacht inluiden. Je overziet het landschap vanuit een hoger perspectief. Je kijkt even op een andere manier naar de wereld, van bovenaf. In een boom slapen, letterlijk tussen de takken slapen is een onbeschrijfelijke ervaring.

Welcome to holiday home Berghzicht, we are located in the heart of the characteristic stream (Montferland). With plenty of sights you will not be bored. In the nearby forest there are several walking routes and mountain bike trails. There are several restaurants nearby and the supermarket is 100m away. The cities of Doetinchem, Zevenaar & Arnhem are easy to reach. We are close to the German border so Elten or Kleve are also nearby.
