Half an hour away is the Lauwersmeer area and the boat to Schiermonnikoog. We do not serve breakfast as standard On the morning after arrival, breakfast is free of charge on the basis of up to 2 people. The days after that you can order breakfast for €20 p.p.

For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Close to Groningen in nature. With Sauna and gym

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

In addition to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Sanitary facilities and a common area are located in the farmhouse. The estate borders the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is within 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can enjoy shopping and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 minutes away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 minutes by public transport.

Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of three bed cities! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet room. We had a very pleasant stay, in a neat accommodation and beautiful surroundings. A place where you can "de-stress" completely. Chantal and Simon are very friendly hostess/gentleman who clearly went out of their way to make the guests happy. We have been able to explore the area several times and also enjoyed restaurants in the immediate area. As far as we are concerned, recommended and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back again. And oh yes, the wine, a personal product of Chantal and Simon, tastes fine according to my wife (I am not a connoisseur😉).

Beautiful and fully furnished house equipped with all the necessary items such as towels, but also the small things such as salt, pepper, coffee, tea and so on. Furthermore, all rooms are equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Hosts very friendly and spontaneous and very busy to make it enjoyable. The area is really great for cycling and so on. Bakkeveen has plenty of great opportunities to eat out. In short, had a wonderful holiday Willeke and Gerard are very nice and spontaneous people Good luck

Nice and cozy house with a farm-like atmosphere. We definitely felt at home. It has a very nice large garden. The neighbors' horses were running around on the lawn opposite the garden. So we had a good view of the beautiful horses. The house has stylish furniture and the smoke is nice throughout the stay. The coffee was delicious! Everything was clean. The beds were nice. The house is close to an industrial estate, so trucks drive past early in the morning, but with the window closed, we had little trouble! The recycling around the corner is nice and Leek is also a very cozy village further on. It is close to Groningen. This cottage is definitely recommended!

Had a very nice stay with Rick. The children had more than enough space to play and on Saturday they were allowed to help with feeding the animals. Would definitely recommend the property!
