House was beautiful and perfectly set up for accommodating a larger group. The pool, hot tub, and games were all well maintained and a ton of fun! The wooded backyard and tall fences make it feel like you have no neighbors at all, making for a very peaceful setting. Meghan was very helpful, responsive, and kind. We highly recommend both property and host!

This location was beautiful. The amenities were fun, and the only thing missing was enough time to do them all. Jonathan was responsive and the house was small, but plenty spacious for 10 people if you like each other. There was always some spot an introvert could go to be alone for a while. Wonderful stay.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying with Harriet. It is an amazing place located in a great spot to get to the beaches, restaurants and fun things to do in town. Communication with Harriet was easy and she was very quick to respond the couple of times we communicated with her. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to find another excuse to stay again!

Jennifer’s home was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared in every way. It was the perfect place for our family getaway. The kids had an incredible time and are still talking about all the fun they had. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We had a great stay! The place was clean, peaceful, and exactly as described. Chris was very responsive and helpful throughout. The pool and outdoor space were definite highlights. Would definitely recommend!

Brandon was a very responsive host. The home was clean and comfortable—perfect for our family gathering. The hot tub and pool provided hours of entertainment. If we return to the area, we would definitely see if this place was available. **When we inquired about kitchen towels because we couldn’t find any at check-in, he had new ones door dashed to us the same day—certainly above and beyond our expectations.

Loved our stay here, peaceful & relaxing. Beautiful little patio to grill & enjoy the hot tub. We visited a local donut shop & Amish farm while staying here and got some delicious sweet treats, plus plenty of state parks & lakes near the area to see! Overall would highly recommend the host/location, thank you for having us!

The Fenn Woods retreat was a wonderful fit for our families! My brother's family stayed with my family, so we were 4 adults and 4 young kids in all. The house was everything we hoped for! We loved that the kitchen was well stocked with oils, spices, pots, pans, and dishes, and it has a huge pantry. The house has two living spaces, so it was easy for our two families to spread out when needed. The backyard and play structure are wonderful! The kids spent so much time outdoors, and we appreciated that the yard was set back from the road. There's also plenty of parking. We also loved that all three mattresses felt new and pretty firm. We all slept comfortably! The loft in the third bedroom is quite large, FYI - it could easily fit a queen mattress (two people). The disappointments were: 1. The pool wasn't working, due to recent storms. Probably out of control of the host, but they didn't offer a discount. 2. There is a skylight in the master bedroom, which impacted sleep and napping.

I stayed here to celebrate my 26th birthday with friends and to say that we were satisfied feels like an understatement. From the decor, the accommodations, the attention to detail, to the location, and the overall responsiveness - We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate! This is your sign to book it!

We loved staying here! The place was cozy and peaceful and we felt at home right away. The area was quiet with very few neighbors. Sarah thought of everything, including food/water bowls and treats for our pup! The highlight was the fully stocked kitchen - we cooked most meals during our stay and whenever we realized we forgot something, it seemed to magically appear in a kitchen drawer. We would love to return next time we take a trip to the area!

Absolutely wonderful stay!! A peaceful getaway with access to lots of trails to hike. Short drive to Bundy Hill preserve which was beautiful. Responsive Host and a very helpful binder and instructions. We will book again!

Great place, clean private area with nice scenery

Thank you to Katherine for the clear and quick communication! If we had any questions or concerns she was extremely easy to get ahold of. We absolutely loved watching the Canoe teams while eating chicken tacos we cooked up in the kitchen on the deck, facing right over the water! We cannot wait to stay again, it was a perfect private area to relax and quick drive to the John Ball Zoo for the Chinese light festival. Thank you again ☺️

This place was great. Highly recommend that you book early, as there is not much in BR, but even if there were a great selection, this would still be top on our list. Super cozy, great couch, and obvious pride in ownership.

Very peaceful area and nice space depicted accurately in the listing and photos. Catherine and Heidi were very responsive and gave great local recommendations. We loved hiking the Dragon Trail despite the weather, and dinner at The Forager was awesome. Also caught a few fish!

Brian is an incredible host! The pictures of this place don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful inside and out. The perfect modern home surrounded by trees and wildlife. A nice fire pit and chairs, a clean and relaxing hot tub, and so much more. This property has something for everyone. It was a great place to stay for my girls trip with my friends and my sisters. The last little getaway before I get hitched. We can’t wait to come back and book this property again

Charming place with everything you need labeled and at your fingertips. It was the perfect spot to getaway and unwind. Sarah and Kasey were excellent hosts.

Carrie was an amazing host, very responsive and accommodating since I asked to extend my trip. The space was very clean and I really enjoyed my time there! The property was very peaceful, with the use of kayaks and fire pit and chairs near the water it was the perfect getaway especially with the nice weather.

What a great place for getting away! The house is first-class with brand new upgrades inside. And the grounds are landscaped beyond belief. The home even comes with a private dock for gazing at the pair of swans as they glide by. It's a little mini-mansion of a gem.

Megan’s space was beautifully kept, spacious, close to downtown and easy to find! Everything was super convenient and Megan provided lots of amenities. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you!!

The house was perfect for us. It was peaceful, relaxing and close to the things we wanted to do. We were close to Grand Haven, Muskegon and Whitehall. We ended up getting ice cream in Fruitport, too. Tom was very hospitable and had bottled water and some other drinks in the refrigerator for us. He also provided coffee. It was a wonderful stay at Tom’s place.

We loved our stay there. The place is beautiful with such detail to comfort. I loved the aesthetics of the spaces. The front porch is such a special detail with chairs to sit outside. The kitchen was stocked with whatever pan, plate or utensil that you could need. To be honest though, we would walk down to the river and eat. Everything was so close. The river entertainment area is wonderful. We really enjoyed the river dam, wildlife and walking paths. My adult children went on a canoe river trip. Jessica is amazing and so quick to respond to any need or question. We have family there and will check here first to see if we can come back to stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house is great setup for a relaxing family vacation. It is a nice quiet lake with a private beach and great fishing off the dock and around the whole lake. Our toddler loved the sand toys and we relaxed around the fire pit after dark. We also explored kid-friendly activities in Big Rapids and Mount Pleasant during our stay. The house was well-equipped and we really enjoyed our time here!
