Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Orleans

Well appointed and comfortable home with nice bed, good water pressure, great AC and friendly, helpful host, living right on the premises. Walkable to great restaurants and bars on Magazine street. About a $15 uber to French Quarter and Marigny.

This is a fantastic space in the Bywater. Conveniently located to lots of entertainment. Walkable. Bathroom is fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

I found this property to have a simple elegance in it's layout. I appreciated Mandie's attention to details and her responsiveness to queries. I really appreciated the reserved parking immediately adjacent to the property.

We had a great stay at Jenee’s place - it was a perfect tranquil counterpoint to the quarter and more raucous neighborhoods. You have to be willing to use the ferry to get back and forth , but it’s 1.5 blocks away. There are limited choices for restaurants / attractions , but that is maybe why it’s so charming and perfect. The porch was lovely for coffee and sitting in the evening too for people watching.

Robin was very sweet and very responsive and her place made us feel right at home! Great location right outside the heart of NOLA!

Probably the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The sanctuary/pool was so well-equipped and we had such a great time relaxing at the end of sightseeing days. The inside was super cool as well, with tons of themed and thoughtful decorations. The Airbnb itself is very convenient to Magazine St, with tons of shops. Also very convenient to the stop for the hop on / off bus which we also used. We were nervous about not having a dedicated parking spot, but it ended up being totally fine with easy parking, and we were able to just park the car and forget about it, with cheap Ubers around $15 to get into the French quarter. Great stay all around !

I really enjoyed the place. It felt safe, it was bright, fun, and felt private even as a duplex. My one knock on the location is that without a car the ubers started to add up as they were roughly 10-15 min from everything. Individually not bad at all, just after 5 days it became pricey. However, I still preferred the location we stayed in for the fact that it was distanced enough from all partying and bars so when we had our fill we were able to separate ourselves. Overall, I would recommend this place to others coming to NOLA. I had a great time and between the hosts and the place itself it checked all boxes.

Caroline’s place was really great. It’s located in a good area with nice restaurants and stores. We had parking right out front. Quiet neighborhood. Charming and unique shotgun style home. We were very pleased. Caroline was so helpful!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean und had everything we needed. The ferry to cross the Mississippi River is a short walk away. Daniel agreed to let us check out a few hours later. Thanks for your flexibility! Also, great money for value.

Had a wonderful stay here! The hosts/hostesses were responsive and, while we did not have any issues during our stay, I'm sure they would have worked to swiftly address them. The location was awesome and within walking distance to a lot of great places, including the French Quarter, the WWII museum, the St. Charles Trolley line, and the riverwalk area. I felt safe at all hours of the day/night in the surrounding area, and the Airbnb itself was secure with the main door building lock and deadbolt/regular lock combo for the unit. The outside surroundings were a bit loud throughout all hours of the day, but that's to be expected with its close proximity to the French Quarter (i.e., we knew what we were signing up for when we booked this place, worth it for the close proximity to the French Quarter). Overall a wonderful stay and I would recommend this location to future visitors!

Phenomenal host. Very clean, very nice. Great recommendations. Very kind when they accidently delivered our lost luggage to the wrong door. Well stocked. Only thing I could suggest is hypoallergenic toiletries and cleaning supplies. Peaceful neighborhood. Felt very safe.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the overall space was very comfortable and nice.

Nice apartment, extremely well located, walking distance from the street car and many grocery stores. Brian is a top host, very proactive and easy to communicate with (he responds to messages within a few minutes). We would definitely stay there again! This space was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to New Orleans! Quiet, peaceful and beautiful-just outside of the hustle and bustle of bourbon street and the French quarter but not so far that these places were not accessible with a quick uber/Lyft or street car ride away! Layla was extremely responsive and accommodating when we encountered some unexpected itinerary/travel issues easing a bit of the stress at the time. I would absolutely recommend this bnb to anyone looking for a truly comfortable, nice and peaceful place to stay in such a busy place such as New Orleans! We will definitely be returning again.

We had a nice and easy stay in Uptown at this cute and homey place. Easy check in/out, nice and responsive hosts, a nice neighborhood where we wanted to be. Small kitchen that has what you need, washing machine/dryer were great (thanks to host who brought us detergent ), easy street parking. Accurate pictures, nice bathroom, bed and furniture all comfortable. I’ll check to see if this place is available when planning my next NOLA trip, which I hope is soon.

We enjoyed our stay. Place is as described! walkable to streetcar. Other small bars. Lock was a little tricky, but I expected it. He did warn of it. Otherwise great place, great time! Thanks Don!

Awesome neighborhood with lots of great food/drink options. Extremely walkable to all popular locations. Loved the high ceilings inside as well as the sliding doors to separate the sleeping area. Very attentive host.

Michelle’s place was as advertised with lots of room, clean, relatively quiet for its location and a great Mediterranean restaurant right next door as an extra bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close location to the French Quarter but far enough away from the crowds.

Stayed at this property for a 4 person bachelorette party. Plenty of space, clean and bright. Comfortable beds. The pool was great for a relaxing day. Walkable restaurants and bars within 10-15 mins. The French Quarter is a 10-15 minute bus or Uber ride in. Highly recommend this location if you want access to the Quarter without the noise.

We had a fantastic stay at the Natchez. Honestly loved everything about the place from stepping into the entry way and being greeted to the moment we left and everything in between!

We loved literally everything about this place for the first weekend of Jazz Fest! The location is perfect with loads of really great restaurants, bars and grocery stores within walking distance and with a gated area to park your car if you want to explore farther afield. The place itself is modern with roomy bedrooms and bathrooms, new fixtures, appliances and a sophisticated security system. Communications with Kelly were clear, timely and super helpful. We will definitely be back!

My sisters and I throughly enjoyed ourselves this weekend; the condo was beautiful and just as described. Bailey was helpful and very friendly. We felt incredibly safe and will stay here again when we return. We have told all our friends about how wonderful our stay was. Thank you!

It was big and spacey place. The location is good as it is close to french quarter but not in it so its less noisy. Things to be aware of is parking is not in building and is bit expensive. The kitchen was stocked in dishes and utensils but didn't have basic spices and oil.

Nice and new condo. The surrounding area is a mixed bag depending which direction you walk in. Not much to walk to immediately nearby. My only concern was never hearing back from the host. I sent one message asking about a late check out prior to check in and it was radio silence. I saw it wasn’t booked after our stay so figured it couldn’t hurt to ask since we had late flights. Even if the answer is no I would have appreciated a response saying that. Other than that we loved the condo itself. It was a great deal especially during jazz fest.
