House holiday rentals in New Hanover County

We came to celebrate birthdays in our family. We had three families staying together at this Airbnb and we had plenty of space to sleep comfortably, have the kids entertained in both the family room and outside, and we were able to cook full meals for everyone. The beach is a short drive and the home is conveniently located to grocery stores and shopping centers as well. The home was absolutely beautiful and we loved everything about our stay, especially the outdoor area with the pool, screened in porch, grill and outdoor games. I would absolutely come back to stay here again! *Also, one of the children left a Tablet device in the home after check out and the owners were super helpful and quickly responsive to ensure we were able to retrieve it before we left town!

10/10 experience. Host was very accommodating, professional, and very personable. We enjoyed our stay and would 110% recommend to anyone!!! Will definitely be back!!

Great house in a great location. The back yard and pool were lovely! Nice private fenced yard great for dogs and kids. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the attention to detail throughout the home was great! We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our time at Gennaro's. It is an older home, but very comfortable and ina very quiet area. We had a few things happen, but Gennaro got right back with me immediately. Plenty of room for the family.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with family at this beautiful home. We loved spending time at the beach and then coming home relaxing by the pool. Having pool towels provided was a great bonus! Alex and Lexi were very responsive and reassuring when we reached out about a few cleaning issues we noticed. Overall, it was a great experience — highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with a pool!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell she really cares about her guests and puts a lot of love into her hosting. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Our stay was a very enjoyable experience, from all of the extra amenities that were available to us to enjoy (our young adult kiddos loved the bikes!!!), to the all over cleanliness of the house. The proximity between the beach and downtown was perfect for us and I loved the creative touches of the decor throughout.

I regularly visit Wilmington, but this the first time I've stayed at Brett's. I can't say enough about how great this space was. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, it has a nice backyard, and the place was impressively clean. It's a great value and I'd highly recommend to anyone. another plus is that it's close to Wrightsville Beach.

Wonderful home, great location, about 10-15 mins to the beach. Very quiet street, home was clean and well stocked, and Mary is a wonderful host. If we’re back in the area again, we will absolutely stay at this house. Bring your bug spray if staying here as the beach mosquitoes are relentless! Thank you, Mary for a great stay.

Great stay. The houseboat was beautiful, pristine and easy to get to and from parking. The balcony was peaceful and all the amenities were there as advertised. Highly recommend staying here. The staff was responsive, easy to reach and friendly! 5/5 stars

Was a great spot and just what we were looking for. 10 minutes from downtown Wilmington and 20 minutes to wrightesville beach. The backyard was very quiet and peaceful and the backyard shower was great! House was clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies. We had 3 people and it was perfect, Highly recommend!

We came to Wilmington for a funeral and Dani was so kind to us during our difficult time. There was seven of us and the house was very spacious and accommodating. The space was clean and the amenities were nice (large tv, comfortable beds, washer and dryer). The screened in back patio was lovely and peaceful, and it was great to unwind out there after an emotional day for us. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you Dani for everything!

We had a wonderful weekend at Suzi’s place. The home was immaculately clean. Kitchen was even stocked with some spices, which we really didn’t expect. Our two doggies just loved the fully fenced in yard. They were able to romp around off leash while my husband and I enjoyed the string lights at the little patio table. The bed was comfortable and Suzi even provided a sheet to protect the bedspread when our dogs slept in bed with us. Lots of unexpected niceties like snacks which came in handy since we arrived fairly late Friday evening. The home is conveniently located near beaches and the USS North Carolina. We were able to have our doggies spend a day at Pet Paradise so we could tour the ship without leaving them home alone. Thank you, Suzi, for sharing your home with us. We would definitely recommend this for anyone traveling with doggies. Already recommended it to my neighbors.

Loved our stay! This is basically the perfect location for Wilmington—you’re a few blocks from the riverwalk and you’re in one of the best parts of downtown. Beautiful and comfy Airbnb, adding this one to our go-to list for return trips. :)

Had a wonderful weekend staying at Lynne's place. We found it to be better than advertised. Would definitely stay there again when we get back to Wrightsville Beach. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants and Mayfaire.

Cute little private cottage, tucked away on a quiet street, right on the water! Beautiful view off the deck and private dock. Nice little walk down to the private beach area. Everything felt and looked super clean. Perfect for a small group of friends staying in the Wilmington area. Looks just like the photos. Would definitely stay again! :)

It was amazing the only regret is wish we could’ve stayed longer. There was a slight odor in the house but other than that it was pleasant!!

We had a great time and this boathouse was amazing, the subtle rocking of the boat was so comforting! It is a beautiful home and everything you need is literally right there. It is a great escape. The only thing I can say that could be different is maybe displaying the name of the home somewhere outside the home to make it easier to find. The directions that were sent were good but there is a detour for the ramp that is normally used I believe. Overall 10/10 would recommend for sure! Thank you for allowing us the stay!

We had a great stay at Blair’s! The house is a hidden gem, decorated so cute and in a great central location. Blair was extremely accommodating and super friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The house was just as described and even better. The hosts were very prompt in replying to messages and taking care of our needs. The house was well-stocked, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Everything we needed was there, right down to salt and pepper and cooking utensils and pots/pans/dishes. Great overall value, too.

We had a wonderful stay. It was very clean and conveniently located. The host went out of his way to make sure all amenities were in good working order. He even brought back doughnuts for our kids! Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!
