Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in New England

We are a family of 6 and two dogs. The house was perfect. We all had a place of our own to sleep. 2 1/2 bathrooms was so helpful! The house is really nice and has the most beautiful view of the trees and mountains! It was very relaxing to sit on the deck. The beds were all comfortable. Plenty of towels and sheets. Everything was very clean. Obviously you have to bring your own food and toiletries but plenty of spices, pots/pans cups, silverware in kitchen. The host was great and responded quickly to my questions. Parker pie is a great place for pizza and hill farmstead brewery also great to check out. If I ever go to this area again I would definitely want this house as it really was wonderful!

Claire’s beautiful cabin was a beautiful spot to relax and get away for the weekend. My dogs and I were attending an agility trial in Waterbury VT and Claire’s cabin was a perfect place to rest. It was within a half hour of several nice hiking trails as well. I loved to quiet and views so much that I skipped out of dinner with agility friends so I could get back, relax and watch the sunset. Claire was very responsive and the homemade soup and cookies she left were not just a nice touch, but were delicious as well! We will definitely be back!

Brian’s Airbnb exceeded our expectations! His home was very accommodating for 5 adults and 3 young children. It was extremely well stocked with kitchen items, toys/ games for all ages, and accessories for young children such as; gates, bed rails and portable cribs. We had many games of shuffleboard with adults and children in the evening. They truly thought of everything!!! Loved all the decor and the inviting and cozy feel of their home. The beds were so comfortable. The location was ideal for heading to Storyland and North Conway. 😊 This trip was a Christmas gift to spend time with my adult children and grandchildren and I couldn’t have asked for a better gift ❤️

A beautiful Stowe getaway. The house has beautiful views of Mt. Mansfield, boasts plenty of space, and is in a great location relative to town.

This was our FOURTH stay with Erik at his place. That should say something right there. It's our go-to hideaway when we head for the Hudson Valley. The location can't be beat, right alongside the Wallkill River just outside of New Paltz. We've spent hours outside by the water sipping our coffee and sharing a glass of wine. We've experienced perfect Fall weather, really hot days and some rainy days, and it's still the place to be. The view is literally a million-dollar view, and you can see the tower at Mohonk straight down the river from the house. Erik is very quick to respond, the interior of the house has been consistently immaculate and exudes coziness. During hot weather, the AC is more than adequate and the hot water in the shower perfect for two demanding runners. We look forward to our next stay here! Brad & Jane

Kathy's cabin on the lake is the most magical place - quiet, peaceful and beautiful, the log cabin a throwback to an earlier time (but with great wifi). We sat on the dock with coffee and listened to the sound of loons out on the water. Kathy is also a great host. We will be back (we have actually stayed here a number of times because it's really the most lovely).

Loved staying in this room! Perfect for families with small kids, right across from the playground and so close to story land. Had a blast and would def stay here again!

Totally quaint and remote. A unique type of place. You don't see that every day which makes it more fun. Mostly dirt roads around there so hopefully you have very good suspension.

Our stay at Hills Pond was wonderful. The weather was not on our side but we were able to make the best of it and had an incredible stay. The location couldn’t have been better and all of the amenities made it the perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend booking a stay at Shannon’s home!

J’ai lu tout les commentaires précédents car je voulais que le miens soit encore plus spécial. Je n’ai pas la plume aussi belle que la plupart de ceux-ci. Mais tout ce que je peux vous dire c’est que c’était…….PARFAIT!!! Les hôtes étaient parfait , le refuge était parfait, l’endroit était parfait, les sentiers étaient parfait, les chevreuils étaient parfait….. Merci Denis et Diane, et à l’an prochain c’est certain.

Nancy's place was a great place to stay, very private and quiet with beautiful surroundings. Easy access to Quechee and Woodstock (~20 min). Skunk Hallow Pub and Farmer's Market just down the street and Harpoon, Simon Pearce factory in Windsor easy to get to. Hope to visit again soon. Nancy's is a fantastic host!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

We had a wonderful stay at Ali and Carson’s cabin! They were incredibly helpful and welcoming hosts. The Mountain View from the cabin is absolutely stunning, even with the rainy weather, it was breathtaking. We also enjoyed exploring the charming nearby towns, and our two dogs had a great time as well. Despite the rain, we loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back when the weather is better. Highly recommend!

The whole trip was fantastic and Jonathan was a great host, answering all of our questions with speedy responses and having the cabin stuffed with board games, extra blankets, and even a little stash of good coffee in the freezer. Thank you again for an amazing time!

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

Can't say enough about this beautiful home. Sara made me felt welcome being immediately responsive & making sure I was comfortable plus the lovely gift bag with the s'mores was an added touch. Thank you for having me & my friends & will be back whenever I'm in the area especially for a concert.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

I needed a getaway from the busy city area. This place was perfect. The property was beautiful at the foot of Hunter mountain and peaceful area. All entries listed and felt right at home. Was able to grill and make s’mores by the fire. A lot of space and good vibes. I would definitely stay again. Perfect for families or couples.

Marinas little red cabin was perfect for our ski trip! The WiFi is a little rough but we didn’t spend much time on our phones Bring dvd’s (the collection is solid but more the better) Perfect distance to okemo, Stowe is less than two hours so it was great! The cabin felt so cozy and felt right at home! Would def book again!

Awesome place to stay, with the host to match. After spending the days hiking and seeing the beautiful area around, was nice coming “home” to such a cozy place. Plenty to do in the area that our host made sure we knew about. Maxim for sure provided everything we needed for our little get away. Will absolutely be back in the fall, and highly recommend Maxim and his properties to anyone.

Kari’s place was warm and accommodating, a lovely place to retreat into the mountains for a few days. The kids loved playing in the yard & we loved cozy evenings by the fire. Kari was such a wonderful, responsive host, full of local recommendations & when the coffee pot went on the fritz, she zipped over and replaced it immediately. We had a wonderful trip & would definitely come again!

Superbe chalet pour les amoureux de la nature. L’endroit est calme et intime. La vue sur l’étang est paisible. Le ciel est magnifiquement étoilé la nuit. Il y a une rivière à proximité (quelques minutes de marche) où on peut aller se rafraîchir et les chiens aussi. Parfait pour décrocher du stress du quotidien. Je recommande!

The cabin was charming, with a nice deck in front for meals and a fire pit in the back. There’s a small lake beach nearby (about 10 mins walk) and many outdoor activities to do around. We really enjoyed the Ausable Chasm adventure park. The cabin was well equipped to cook. The internet wasn’t great but we were looking to disconnect so it didn’t bother us that much. Donald was responsive and even helped us with the BBQ and wood for the fire. Overall, I recommend this place.

We’d stayed at Will & Patti’s place before, prior to the pandemic, and were so pleased to see not much had changed - it’s still as beautiful and peaceful as we remember. The perfect place to get away for a weekend to hike and unplug from everything. We hope to stay longer next time!
