Pet-friendly holiday rentals in New England

This was a perfect place for our sister’s trip! We were arriving late & Kristen kindly left the light on. The Niche was clean, roomy, & comfortable. We especially enjoyed Flume Gorge for a spectacular hike. The waterfalls were endless! Also, the town of N. Woodstock was so worth it for dinner options. The entire White Mountain area is beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at Bow House. Very much appreciate Jennifer's clever touches and clear communications.

This beautiful house in the woods was even better than expected - incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We loved just relaxing to the sounds of the nearby creek and playing music on the vinyl player - such a special touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also not far from Minnewaska State Park, which made hiking super convenient. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d love to come back!

My friend and I spent our momcation here and it was perfect! The sauna and hot tub felt relaxing. The lilacs were in bloom and smelled heavenly. The birds sang for us every morning while we enjoyed our coffee on the deck. I love to cook and the kitchen had what I needed. The house was clean and was the sweetest little set-up.

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay at Wright’s Mountain Retreat. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed (and the sauna was a fun perk!). The surrounding area was beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect place to relax and unwind!

We had a great stay. The apartment is peaceful and clean. I particularly loved the soaking tub! Jared was very responsive to all my questions and provided great coffee for the morning.

A very cool experience slightly off the grid. Great intro to Vermont and mother nature out here. Jonathan was easy to work with, helpful and kind. We only stayed one night and that was good for a space with an outhouse and no electricity in the lodging. The yurt was lovely. The stars were bright <3

My partner and I booked this stay for our one year wedding anniversary. The site had lots of other cute airbnbs but still felt private and peaceful. The goats and chickens were so adorable! The highlight for us was the outdoor tub, it was very clean and a fun experience. We would definitely rebook with this host and were even talking about next time trying one of his other airbnbs on the property! Thanks Jon for a great stay and allowing us to have an unforgettable weekend trip 😊

We recently stayed at Tina's and had a great time. The location is secluded, incredibly peaceful and quiet — all you can hear are the birds in the morning. The home itself is clean and looks just like the photos. We also loved that we could bring our dog along with us. We live in the city so our pup doesn't get to touch much grass, and he had a blast running through the fenced-in yard. Although we originally booked because the house has a pool and we were hoping for good weather, it rained almost the entire time we were there... Nonetheless, it felt like the coziest home for a rainy weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting inside by the fire to watch a movie, cooking in the kitchen and building a fire outside when the rain stopped. The location was also great for driving into Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Hudson and surrounding breweries and wineries.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the cabin! The scenery is beautiful and so so peaceful. If you are looking for a secluded,“deep in the woods” feel getaway - this is the place. Sean was so friendly and responsive. Downtown isn’t as far away as it feels when you’re at camp, so we had a great day exploring downtown as well! Best of both worlds.

This place the atmosphere the surroundings it was all so lovely and needed, the price paid off. I loved the views the water and the shower outside. The bed was so comfortable very clean the place overall was very comfy I felt so comfortable. I recommend this place for a stay if you love to be away from people and need calmness. Everything was on spot from the house, the area outside to everything included. Thankyou so much for this, 10/10

Does the cabin look perfect in the photo? It's better. Does the yard look like the perfect place to forget the rest of the world exists? It is. Are the White Mountains a place that make you feel like the psychological mountains in your life are just a little smaller? They are. We don't have enough good things to say about the Cabin or communicating with Cassouki. It's rare to step into a space that feels like it was designed with intention on every level - from the scents in the air to the textures of the cabin to the quiet confidence in every object's placement. The Conscious Cabin doesn't just reflect a designers eye, it reflects a storyteller's heart. I've stayed in more than a few retreats, but this is the first one that felt like it had something to say--and somehow said it quietly enough to let us hear ourselves again. Stay here.

Such a beautiful home in a peaceful area! Lots of hiking trails for the dog! Would recommend this place to anybody we had an amazing stay!

Little Blue Bay Frame was a great place to relax, unwind and reset. Joel is a great host. He was quick and attentive to our stay. He gave us listing of different food and things to do in the area. Everything was perfect. Bedding was super soft and cozy. The hot tub was fabulous on the cool evenings/nights. Cooked a few meals there and had all the dishes/cookware provided. You can tell Joel thought of every little detail needed for such a perfect spot in the middle of the woods. The outdoor lights were perfect. Check in/out was easy. Thank you Joel for being such a wonderful host and making our mini vaca/birthday celebration one to remember. We definitely will come back.

This place is magnificent, perfect gateway weekend from the city !!

Let’s just say this home should be rated a ten! Janice made her home the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature, curl up with cozy blankets, play family board games or watch the stars from the pristine hot tub. Her home is completely private surrounded by nature and the rock ledge of course. Inside I found everything super clean, upscale unique furniture, crazy comfy mattress and that heated bathroom floor makes you want to install one back home! But let’s not forget to mention that shopping, amazing breweries, pizza shops and local lobster restaurants are just a 5 minute drive away!! The guidebook Janice wrote is wonderfully extensive! But if you need Janice she’s always available to help out. I found her very sweet and always available to answer any questions I had. I don’t call this a Tiny house. I call it a Treasure house! Hated to leave and hoping to stay again someday.

My favorite airbnb experience! Perfect! I've probably stayed at 75+ airbnb's throughout the world, along with ~100 hostels and dozens of hotels over the past 10-15 years. This is easily top 3 in my life -- on par with a quant cabin in rural Japan and a place in northern Vietnam w/ a balcony that abutted the SaPa rice fields. The hosts were very flexible and accommodating to me as I unusually had some unexpected changes to my reservation dates (due to an illness days beforehand). Our stay was to celebrate a special occasion w/ my partner, and the hosts went out of their way to make it special. Top notch. Couldn't have asked for anything better! The interior design is excellent. A nice mix of Scandinavian simplicity mixed w/ modern rustic cabin in the most authentic way. It appears the entire place was built by hand, perhaps the owners themselves. Nothing is kitschy, cheesy, or trying too hard to project a style, it's just authentically a great, cute cabin in the woods.
