Houseboat holiday rentals in New England

We had an amazing stay on Rheanna’s houseboat. The views were stunning, super private, and the location was just unbeatable. Rheanna was incredibly kind and showed us how to use everything—from the power and stove to the bathroom—so we felt totally at ease. The canoe that comes with the houseboat was perfect for exploring nearby islands, and we were lucky enough to have resident loons hanging out the whole time. We got a little bit of every kind of weather—sun, rain, clouds, clear skies—and it was beautiful in every situation . Such a peaceful, memorable experience. Highly recommend!

I proposed here! Newport has been very special for me and my partner. I knew Lilypad would be the perfect setting and Danielle went above and beyond to help me make the proposal better than I envisioned! The Lilypad was tucked in around Fort Adams with beautiful views of the bay. The waters were serene with a gentle breeze throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the watertaxi rides, especially at night where we stargazed underneath a clear sky! Danielle was super friendly and accomendated all of our needs. Lilypad will forever have a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to stay again!

The house boat is in a great location with easy walking access the Freedom Trail locations like Bunker Hill or the USS Constitution. Catching the ferry to Long Wharf or the 93 bus downtown is also very convenient. Our two kids loved the sleeping in the loft.

Danielle is a fantastic host with a beautiful home. Within minutes of settling into the Lilypad we were already making plans to return. The views were excellent, water taxi service was convenient, the boat was in terrific shape, and we felt right at home.

Great stay, great location, beautiful views, and walkable to downtown and all the local restaurants!

We enjoyed ourselves! Truly a unique experience and one we have already shared with many people encouraging them to check it out. Food/dining wasn’t crystal clear to us but there is an IGA 15m away and that was perfect. It may be specific to many Canadian Airbnbs but definitely be prepared to take care of a few things prior to your checkout and allow time for that. We look forward to planning a summer trip here and checking out the lovely lake!

Neville's houseboat was so interesting. I'm so glad we stayed there, I've never stayed on a house boat! But I was here for Yale graduation and this houseboat was the only affordable place available because I booked a little late. I think I have more things to say about generally living on a houseboat than Neville's hosting capabilities. 1. House boats are loud at night, in the wind, bumping against the dock. I had ear plugs, but that's something to consider. 2. It's kind of like an RV. You can't go number 2! but it's ok, bc Neville told us where in the Marina we could use the restroom. The only drawback was that there was no wifi, as it was broken, and Neville didn't tell us about it until I asked about it. But he said he's getting that fixed, so don't let that be a drawback. All in all, I would ABSOLUTELY stay there again. Thanks, Neville!

Very peaceful place, was awesome to stay right on the water out in nature. The houseboat was very clean and hosts were very nice. It is a small space but the experience is worth it. Highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable stay at the houseboat, especially with the two patios that were great to spend time on. It was very clean and easy to check into, although we had a little difficulty finding it at first due to construction in the area. It would have been great to be able to enjoy the beach or swim nearby but that was a drive away and the water was not advised to swim in.

We highly recommend Deborah's place! It was very unique & charming and the location was perfect for taking in all the sites to see in Boston. Deborah was very quick to communicate whenever we reached out and she also allowed us to check in two hours early which gave us more time to explore the city and surrounding area. Looking forward to returning one day.

Such a unique place to chill for a couple days. Beautiful surroundings in a great city, so much to do and all walkable. The boat is so comfy and clean with everything you could need. The hosts were readily available for any questions or needs. Sherrie was right there for us when we arrived and was filled with lots of local information. Super séjour chez Nathalie c’est un endroit simple, ressourçant, paisible au cœur de la nature. Le kayak à disposition permet de découvrir la nature environnante. Petit bémol Il n’y a pas de point d’eau/sanitaires dans le logement. Les commodités sont situé à une vingtaine de mètres des berges et sont gérés par la municipalité. Nathalie est très réactive, à l’écoute des besoins et dans la volonté de faire évoluer le lieu. PS : N’hésitez pas à faire un tour à leur crémerie, ils font de super glaces savoureuses Je recommande

Our stay on The Green Turtle was an enjoyment. Jon was so hospitable and accommodating. The sunset and sunrise views were beautiful. The room was cozy and cleanly. Homemade warm muffins were delivered right to the door. Truly an opportunity you do not want to miss!
