There are also various restaurants, cafes and an indoor swimming pool with an adjoining fitness center. Shops for everyday needs are within walking distance. The proximity to the Wahnbachtalsperre and the location, surrounded by fields and forests, invites many to hike and go on excursions.

Pure tranquility: Our apartment, newly built in 2018, invites you to a relaxing vacation in the countryside, as well as to quiet evenings after stressful working days. Hiking trails, forests and dams offer wonderful views and excursion destinations. Bonn/Cologne 32 km; shops 7 km Important: Absolutely no smoking; pets are not allowed due to animal allergies. For bookings longer than 7 days, weekly interim cleaning of the apartment will be carried out at a price of €30.

Country house in the Bergisches Land Nature Park

A peaceful and quiet accommodation perfect for families/groups but also individuals. The bus stop is close to the house. In addition, the popular “Kräuterweg” (hiking trail) is right on the doorstep. With the good, regular bus connection you can quickly get to the next larger cities, train stations, etc. The house itself offers everything you could wish for in terms of comfort. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

You are most welcome in our cozy half-timbered cottage "Refugium im Gitzental" near Siegburg/Cologne/Bonn. In a 10-minute walk through our village, along meadows with cows, alpacas and sheep, you will immerse yourself in the forest with the Wendbach and Wahnbach streams, which flow into the nearby Wahnbach reservoir. For those who want a retreat from everyday life and the usual to unwind. Various shops & restaurants: by car in 5 - 10 minutes.

In the middle of a residential area close to the city of Hennef, our new guest apartment is located in the annex of our detached house with separate entrance and access on the ground floor. It is a newly renovated and bright comfort apartment (approx. 45 square meters) with its own bathroom, a kitchenette and modern basic equipment – ideal for a multi-day professional stay or just to relax over the weekend in the countryside.
