Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nerima City

This home was perfect for us! We were so comfortable and felt right at home. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was in such a great location to be able to hop on the train to go shopping and get great food. Plus it was a quick walk to the conbini which was a huge help! The neighborhood was peaceful and we felt safe there. Kat responded almost immediately to all of my messages. We had to extend for another night and got it extended within 5 minutes!! I would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend Kat as a host 😃

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Das Haus von Masaki war super eingerichtet, die Küche hatte einen kleinen Grill, zur Begrüßung hatte sie uns sogar Bier und Ginger ale in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Darüber haben wir uns nach der langen Reise sehr gefreut! Das Haus war riesig mit Sitzsäcken und Sofa, ein schöner Esstisch mit gutem Licht, wir haben uns sehr wohl fühlen. Direkt am Haus war ein Fußweg zum Park, ohne Autos. Der Park hatt einen See und man konnte am Fluss entlang spazieren. Zur Fußgängerzone waren es nur 15 Minuten, mit vielen Restaurants und Läden. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

Our family stay at this property for four nights and it was a wonderful experience. Everything in the listing was completely accurate and the provision of the essential was much appreciated. The house is clean and bedrooms are very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this property and would love to return in the future.

I LOVED my stay at this magical Airbnb listing! Whether you are a fan of Ghibli or just enjoy beautifully appointed homes, this is a beautifully and thoughtfully designed home with wonderful Hosts! Communication was proactive and friendly with all details provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Coming back to the listing at the end of the day was like tucking into my own beautiful little tree house full of thoughtful amenities and features! Even the lighting was thoughtfully labeled, well designed and easy to use! This was my first time staying in the Mitaka neighborhood and it felt much more locally authentic compared to more touristy neighborhoods (e.g., Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza), and I felt like I could actually immerse in the local culture, while still having easy access to the train (including express lines) to bring me to tourist attractions easily.

Kenji is a great host who is very responsive. Due to flight delays, we didn’t arrive until close to midnight and he was kind enough to stay up and show us in. Definitely check out the black spa as per his recommendation. He has bikes that you can borrow to explore the neighborhood.

This place was exactly what I was looking for for my extended work trip. I wanted enough space to work and lounge and in a neighborhood that was conveniently located near the main parts of Tokyo (a short ride on the Seibu-Shinjuku line to Takadanobaba and Shinjuku stations). Numabukuro station is a 5-6 min walk, and the bus system is great for getting around Nakano city. It’s a pretty laid back, local neighborhood with restaurants, markets, and music playing on the main street. Sometimes, it can be a little noisy, but the bedroom is tucked back away from the main drag. The sleep pod was really cool and comfortable. Just be aware that there isn’t much sunlight due to this place’s layout, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was modern, comfy, and great for living the local life in Tokyo. I’m excited to rent this place again soon!

It’s truly an experience to live like a Tokyo local. It was my first time being asked to tidy everything in the room before checkout—and I actually did it, even sorting all the recycling properly. I really liked the house, especially since I used almost everything in the kitchen. I also enjoyed the bedroom; the bed was very comfortable. The nearby Seiyu supermarket was one of the places I visited most often. 東京の人々のように生活するのは、本当に特別な経験でした。チェックアウト前に部屋を片付けるように言われたのは初めてで、実際にすべてをきれいにし、リサイクルもきちんと分別しました。この家はとても気に入りました。キッチンのほとんどすべてのものを使ったほどです。ベッドルームも快適で、寝心地の良いベッドでした。近くの西友スーパーは、最もよく行く場所の一つでした。

The room was exactly as described, the host super nice and flexible. The room is above a really nice bar, and surprisingly there is no noise at all! However, the room is pretty far from the center, around 45 mins from Shinjuku. So it depends on what you're looking for!

Nori-San es un gran anfitrión. Siempre estuvo pendiente de mi llegada y me dio grandes recomendaciones por la zona. El departamento está excelente ubicado, ya que tenes una estación de tren/metro a pocos metros que te comunican perfectamente con todo Tokyo. Muy recomendable.

The airbnb is very near to the station. The host even waited for us in the train station to help with the luggages. She was very friendly and recommended a lot of restaurants nearby that we can try. The neighborhood is very peaceful and it felt relaxing after a long day of touring around the city. The room is very spacious and enough for 4 people to freely move around. It is very clean, air condition is cold and there are towels provided. The towels could also be washed and changed upon request. On top of that, the host responds quickly and also sends us daily updates of weather forecasts. Since rain was forecasted during our stay, there were also a lot of umbrellas ready on the first floor. Overall, this is one of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed at. I recommend this place a lot and will definitely book this room again whenever we come back to Tokyo in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Miho’s place! The apartment itself is adorable with the comfiest bed and ambient lighting. The neighborhood was also lovely as it was very quiet but with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Miho’s guidebook was also extremely helpful when choosing places to eat. We always looked forward coming back to Mitaka after being in the city center! Thank you for an amazing stay :)

My wife and I have been trying to get a chance to visit Japan for the last ten years, and when we finally got the ability to, Asama helped us start off the trip wonderfully. Her house was comfortable and easy to find, and was very homey stay in. She offered home cooked meals for breakfast, which were absolutely fantastic. We got to sit and chat with her many times and shared stories about where we were from and our travels. She recommended many places for us to go locally, which was very helpful. Overall, Asama was a wonderful hostess and was absolutely one of the best parts of our trip so far. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting the area to stay. 10/10.

The place was very cozy and nicely put together. It was clean and exactly as described. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

Very cozy house in a clean neighborhood. My family really enjoy the quietness and privacy. It’s a new and full-functional home. Not located in center Tokyo, but just 3 minutes walking to train station and fast to Shibuya by express line. Erin also gives many useful guide in Tokyo for us.

I love this place. It’s in a quieter neighbourhood and the room is sizeable especially for the standards in Japan. Only thing is if you don’t like the noise coming from upstairs as the walls are a bit too thin, choose the top floor. But it’s only accessible by stairs. Train station is closed by, convenient.
