Enjoy life in this quiet, on the outskirts and yet centrally located apartment with direct access to the forest and fields. Our old half-timbered house, formerly a mill, is located directly on the Mühlgraben, with the local history museum on the neighboring property and the old hunting lodge opposite. The barrier-free apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, its own garden with two wooden terraces, kitchen, spacious living/dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and its own parking space.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - on the balcony with a view or in front of the blazing fire in the fireplace. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

Forester's lodge in Waldhessen - Hirschgrund apartment

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and has a large bedroom with dining area, tiled stove, TV, new bright bathroom with bathtub and a fully equipped separate country kitchen. It is also possible to use a shared games room with an associated terrace on the ground floor. The forest house was completely renovated in 2021. It is the starting point for hikes and bike tours in the surrounding forest, or trips to Kassel, Eisenach, Weimar, Erfurt and Bad Hersfeld.

The red construction trailer on our old farm on the outskirts of the village offers a great view. Time to come down and enjoy the simple life in nature. Room to switch off and stop. The spacious construction trailer has everything for a good simple life: washbasin, stovetop, fridge. In the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa you can relax. Outside: Outdoor hot shower and compost separating toilet. In winter you shower in our separate apartment.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!
