We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

The surroundings offer many attractions: Eltz Castle, Pyrmont Castle, Moselle Loop, beautiful dream trails for hiking. Ideal for mountain biking, bicycles and motorcyclists anyway. The direct highway connection of the A48 offers a fast connection to beautiful places in the area such as Cochem, Beilstein, Moselschleife, Mayen, Eifelmaare, Nürburgring, Hängeseilbrücke, Bürresheim Castle. The apartment with private entrance is accessible via a separate external staircase of 16 steps.

The EIFEL QUARTIER anno 1846 is part of an ensemble of several historic natural stone buildings that have been lovingly restored and give discerning guests a great natural experience right in the heart of the Eifel without having to sacrifice relaxed luxury. This stylishly newly renovated apartment is the ideal place for a relaxing stay in idyllic Maifeld. Hiking, cycling, Moselle and Eifel: The surrounding area offers a variety of possibilities. You can start the award-winning "Pyrmonter Felsensteig" dream trail directly from the property. The Elzbach Valley with its many mills also invites you to hike. Eltz Castle is also worth a trip. It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved castles in Germany!

Welcome to the Hilger vacation home

In the newly renovated vacation home, there are 2 bedrooms with one double bed (2.00 × 2.00) and (1.80 × 2.00) meters on the 1st floor. On the ground floor is the living room, the kitchen-living room and the shower room with toilet. Parking is available in the courtyard entrance. In the back area there is a cozy sitting area with a lounge set and a grill to relax. If you arrive by bicycle, you are welcome to use the rear courtyard for parking.

Spend a casual time with friends, family or two. The accommodation is comfortably equipped and very lovingly furnished. Great also the green courtyard. Pets are welcome upon request. The cozy ambiance invites you to linger and is the ideal starting point for excursions. So you can explore the Maifeld, hike the dream trails, visit Eltz Castle, participate in a wine tasting on the Moselle or take a boat trip on the Rhine.

Our holiday home was built in 2020 and offers 67m² of space for 4 people. There is also an approx. 30m² games storage area, which offers many options, especially on rainy days. The house and outdoor area are child-friendly and comfortably furnished. The location is a good starting point for trips to the regions: Maifeld, Moselle and Eifel. Families, hikers and bikers are sure to get their money's worth.

In the May field barn there is a holiday apartment. This is bright and friendly furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. Both a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a separate toilet is available. Magazines, books and games do not cause boredom even in the rain. Around the apartment you will find various leisure activities. Excursions and attractions are within easy reach.
