I stayed at this property for one night with my wife. Property was clean and fantastic. We had a balcony which was pretty good. This property is exactly in front of Ganga Maiyya. Walking path below this property was very nice. View from this property was awesome. Manager of this property (Miss.Sneha) was very talkative, friendly and co-operative. Check-in was very smooth. They sent their person to collect our luggage. They have a small kitchen for the entire property but we can cook the food. We ordered Coffee which was nice. Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhula and Parmartha Niketan Ashram is just 10 mins drive from this property. I would definately recommend this property. Positive things : Clean Room Excellent Ganga River View Nice Walking Path Excellent Manager (Mis. Sneha) Negative things : 1. The AC in the room was working but Remote was not working. 2. Due to small size of Washroom, Shower area was not different.

Though the host was not present, everything was managed flawlessly. This was my second visit, the first being with office colleagues, and the charm remains untouched. However, I truly missed Rudra, the humble German Shepherd, a loyal guardian and friend. For those seeking tranquility, adventure, and heartfelt hospitality, this retreat is a perfect escape. Can’t wait to return!

Swamiji’s home in Rishikesh is not just a stay; it’s an experience of stillness. Located right in the centre yet gently removed from the noise, it offers the best of both worlds. The Ganga view is breathtaking, and the quiet that surrounds you is rare and restorative. The energy of the house is deeply nourishing. You feel held the moment you enter. If you’re planning a quietcation or a soulcation, this space is perfect. And if Swamiji is in town, you’re in for something truly special. He’s wise, kind, incredibly grounded, and also gives amazing recommendations—be it for local cafés, books, soulful Kirtans or deeper spiritual paths. A place to pause, realign, and return to yourself.

This sanctuary is set higher up on the crest of Tapovan providing a panoramic view and a peaceful, breezy refuge from the heat of the surrounding village. There are a range of learning opportunities and gatherings, from pottery classes, to yoga classes, to cooking classes, to sound healing, kirtan, and ecstatic dance, and the list goes on into infinite possibility. We stayed at this amazing villa for 2 nights and had an unforgettable experience. Right from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by a lush, peaceful garden that made us feel instantly relaxed. The interiors were elegant and cozy, offering all the comforts. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding hospitality. Mr. Narender, the owner, was incredibly warm, courteous, and helpful throughout. A big thank you to the staff, especially Chandan ji and Gopal ji, who were always present with a smile, ready to help with anything we needed. Their service added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. The food was great too. If you’re looking for a perfect escape with top-notch service, beautiful surroundings, and genuine hospitality, this villa is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

The place offered us one of the most soul- stirring experiences- a deep reminder of what it means to truly feel alive. It felt as though I was living the very dream I've always held close to my heart. The way Stuti has designed it, you feel as though nature herself is whispering to you. I wouldn't call it a property- it's a home , a heartfelt belonging for so many of us.

Where to start.. the place is amazing beautifully designed and furnished. With an amazing view of the surrounding hills. The staff Manoj and the team were very helpful in helping a tourist navigate the area and sorting out taxis etc. The food from the chef was delicious and I felt like I was eating like a king. Shampa was and continues to be very generous in guiding me on my travels through India with lots of suggestions and connections to her friends around the country. I can highly recommend a stay at the Umri.
