We loved staying at Once Upon a Time. Tucked away in a lovely village with all the necessities. We loved the apartment it was had many nice touches we especially enjoyed the balcony.Luekerbad is a hidden gem. The town is charming and we couldn't have asked for more!

The unit had everything we needed and more. Well stocked, lots of space, and Ruth was very sweet and welcoming. the surrounding hills and vineyards are spectacular. We spent hours walking the paths around the town and it's a great base camp for hikes in the surrounding mountains. We would stay here again.

A beautifully presented apartment. It was easy to access and clear instructions were given on how to find the property and how to get in. The interiors are beautiful and wonderfully craftsmanship with all the beautiful wood touches. Me and my family had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed staying in Markus’s home! It was clean and beautiful inside. The only thing was the execution of the key fob was difficult. We stayed here while visiting Zermatt. We’d recommend it to others.

Perfect air b&b. Super cute location, perfect view and wonderfully quiet around you. Andrea and Mario are very friendly and attentive. Respond quickly to questions and have good tips on what to do in the area. From this location, you can get anywhere by train. Train is within walking distance. Well-maintained apartment, clean and tidy. You have everything you need, even delicious eggs from their own chickens. We are incredibly happy that we chose this air b&b.

Everything was great. Great location for the skiing holidays, well equipped kitchen, friendly host. Would gladly come back.

I spent a few days with my both children (4 and 9 yo) here. It was wonderful! Very clean apartment and the view was great. My kids enjoyed the little toys and games. Google Maps always sends you to the shortcut, but that shortcut isn’t really suitable if you have luggage. So, better follow Wenzel’s instructions. Bettmeralp is great for families!

The place was very nice and the apartment was larger than we expected. Special thanks also go to Pascal's parents, who lent me an adpater for the Swiss network, as I had forgotten mine. Words can’t really describe how perfect this place is. The location is impeccable - you will want to live on the patio. 😻 It’s serene and feels private even though there are other units nearby. The place is equipped with everything you need and was super comfortable. There is a convenient bus stop right out front to get into town if needed (super helpful with luggage and groceries!) but the walk is easy and beautiful. Jenny was an excellent host - kind and responsive and provided tons of detail. I would stay here again - and hope to if I’m lucky enough to return!

This apartment was the cherry on top of our amazing stay in Switzerland. We are already planning our return to the apartment as we fell in love with it. We fell right at home and really appreciate the smaller touches too - the condiments for cooking and extra bits of storage were very useful. There are many things to list about what was unreal about this place, but I’ll mention the view from the balcony - watching the birds of prey, hearing the cow bells and watching the paragliders made it even more dreamy, plus the sky light in the bedroom to see the stars at night. Ruxin are greats hosts, so friendly and very accommodating.

Benjamin’s place is great, with beautiful views! It’s clean, spacious with nice space to sit outside (in nice weather). Would definitely stay here again.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our week in Switzerland! Ellen’s beautiful place on the mountain is so special. Amazing village and friendly community. Even being a bit fearful of heights we enjoyed the beauty of the elevation. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and more. Ellen was excellent with responding to all of our questions and helpful advice for our stay.

Estelle is so pleasant & cheerful young lady! We immediately felt her presence like a family member! She talked with us.. had Indian tea & snacks! She even gifted us a fine bottle of wine 🍷!! Super host!!! We will go to Visp again just to stay at her amazing house 🏠… thank you so much Estelle!!!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

Chuen was a great host and should be proud what he has done with his Swiss home. It’s a perfect accomodation to stay in a peaceful traditional place in Switzerland home, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery whilst having everything you need, including a kitchen, great bed and bathroom for exploring the Swiss landscape. The hike from the train station is a little steep for those with suitcases, but for those back packing it is worth it. Would recommend to anyone staying in Switzerland!

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

We appreciated Nicolas' kindness and responsiveness. Everything was easy and smooth during this stay. We were able to benefit from the parking space longer than expected, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is functional, nice decoration with linens. It's nice little touches. Note that there was, among other things, household paper, spices, dishwashing liquid and coffee capsules available. Thank you!
