Ogura is the descendant of a woodworker who lived with wood. Questioning modern housing that relies on 24-hour air conditioning for comfort, we created a space that feels like a wooden sunbeam, where you can feel the natural wind and sunlight while inside the house. While taking advantage of traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, you can stay comfortably without any inconvenience by incorporating modern facilities. On a dark night when you can see many stars, the sound of birds and the wind, and powdery snow that is so smooth that you can't make snowballs. Feel the magnificent nature of Minamiaizu with all five senses. There are few restaurants nearby that are open late, but the open kitchen is stocked with special cooking utensils, dishes, and basic condiments, so we recommend cooking for yourself.

Due to the renovation of ancient houses, there are rooms that are difficult to open and close, and there are places where you can feel the gap.Please refrain from using it if you are concerned about dust, insects, etc. I recommend it for those who can enjoy camping. * Please note that turtle bugs appear in autumn and spring. The ceiling fan, and antique lights were added during the renovation. There are rooms in which furniture will not open and close smoothly as well as many drafts.
