Stayed here for a week early June and it was exactly as described. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed. It’s in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back! Thanks again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was incredibly well equipped—from the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Cooking was a breeze thanks to the fully stocked kitchen, and the bathrooms had all the essentials (and then some!). The beds and linens were very comfortable, and all of the furniture was cozy and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Most importantly, we felt completely safe and at ease staying here as a family, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Judy was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. Her communication really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. We would absolutely rent this place again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Great apartment unit - really clean, comfortable and spacious. It worked well for our party - both for an older senior and a new baby. It was quiet and the hosts were really acommodating. Well outfitted to make our stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Secluded, quiet neighbourhood with water access and great view. Loved the fire pit and kayaks! Be ready to climb up and down the steep steps, however.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

We had a great stay at Shirley’s house. Was a little hard to find at nite when we arrived. Shirley came by and helped us with the propane fire pit on the deck. It was very enjoyable after being out and about all day. The location was great.

Jenny was a fantastic host-- very responsive and helpful! the place was in a great location close to a lot of restaurants. You can walk to a beach from the house.

You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot. If you love nature, a peaceful environment, clean and very safe neighbourhood for a family spot this is the place! Julia’s beautiful home is just steps away from a scene that looks like just out of postcard! The covered patio was perfect in the hot heat and Great for cool raining nights as you’ll stay comfortable and dry! The view from the patio makes you want to stay a few more days just alone. Food is about 5-10mins away. There’s parks 2-5mins and one that is literally across the street! If you’re planning a trip to Nanaimo, I would highly recommend staying here! As an avid Airbnb renter / explorer I have found Julia’s home to be the cleanest & safest environment. I hope everyone gets a chance to experience this beautiful home. Liz was amazing, very kind & accommodating! The home & the view were more beautiful in person, highly recommend Liz’s air bnb!

Everything was great, the only thing for me is I like a hard bed. Now don’t get me wrong my kids said they had the best sleep. Her bed was WAY too soft. Memory foam beds and foam pillows! It was nice but I didn’t have the best sleep because I’m used of a harder bed.

A lovely home nestled in the woods above the trees. I spent a couple of nights with this as my home base. It was a great location to come home to after adventuring to places in the area and before heading on to the west coast. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! The quiet stillness was incredible with only the birds chirping. So peaceful!

Sage's place was absolutely stunning! Well decorated with space for our family to each have their own room. There were plenty of essentials that we didn't have to buy (shampoo, laundry soap, coffee etc.) which was really convenient. Located close to the ferry terminal, Sage's place provided our family with a base to explore Nanaimo and parts of the northern part of the island. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place! Very happy with the space, more than enough room for us and our two kids. Location was excellent, and Ben was very responsive. Would stay again. The heater on the deck was a nice treat as well. Also loved the welcome chocolates, thanks!

This place deserves more than 5*s! Beautiful, peaceful location, where we were made to feel welcomed and at home from the get go. Keyolynn was an amazing host, so nice and gave us lots of recommendations which made our stay even more special. If you need a place to unwind and relax this is the place for you. Our only regret was we could not have stayed longer. A real utopia.
