Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nakuru County

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We had a peaceful break and enjoyed the pool and the scenic views. David, the caretaker, was very helpful in ensuring anything we needed was provided and also linked us to nearby activities. A chef can be sourced if required. We will be back during our next trip to Naivasha.

David and Wakonyo are great hosts. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We received a warm welcome and our family loved it. The facility is beautiful, spacious, gives a good Kenyan feeling. The walk in the vast compound was amazing. Wakonyo took time to explain the beautiful history behind the facility. Thank you David and Wakonyo for making our trip memorable. I would recommend that you update the address to your facility as well for direction purposes

An absolute dream spot on 200 acres of exclusive parkland next to the lake with giraffe and zebra’s walking through your garden. The cottage is utterly charming. Old school rustic but made beautifully comfortable by a doting team. The home made food delivered to the cottage was some of the best we have eaten in Kenya. A truly hidden gem. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

Perfect location for a group gateaway. All the rooms are ensuite. Everyone from the guard at the entrance, welcoming team, the chef and the guard who lit the fireplace were all accomodative and thoughful. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Only regret is that we should have stayed longer!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated. It was such a peaceful area, perfect for relaxation and disconnecting from the daily hustle. The rough road to get here wasn't that bad, we had a pretty low car and it still wasn't that bad. However, if you have a high car, the better. I felt instantly at ease upon arrival, and the atmosphere was everything I’d hoped for in a getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene escape!

Hi, the place was nice, spacious with a nice outdoor terrace. I had to be in Narok for a business meeting. I can assure for a bsuiness traveller its an ideal starting place Will definitely book again when i need to be in Narok

We loved our stay at Wongani's beautiful stone cottage in the midst of a wilderness reserve. The home is off the beaten path, and we were stunned by the beauty and closeness of nature - driving by zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and other creatures on the way up the mountain, plus the stunning views from the home overlooking Lake Naivasha. It was better than we could have expected. The home is perfect for a family, or for a group, with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, a large kitchen and food prep area, and comfortable places to hang out in the home and outside on the patio or yard. It is so thoughtfully designed and decorated too - it felt homey and welcoming. It was truly a special experience spending a weekend there, and we hope to come back soon!

I had one night stay at the place, i was apprehensive when i reached the place due to proximity to village but the place was very well maintained. It was well furnished with great aesthetics. It had all the required facilities one can imagine. Excellent value for money.

Marc’s place was perfect for our multi-day stay and group of 6 (plus 1 toddler). The house is situated in a beautiful, private compound north of the lake but within an hour drive of most activities. It was a great launching off point for daily adventures, yet was remote, peaceful and restorative at the end of the day. The house was spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. Caroline and Benter also helped to make our stay special— and left us feeling grateful and full after the delicious meals. Thank you, Marc and team! We can’t wait for our next visit!

This villa and the nearby cottages are on a beautiful piece of land. This is the second time we have stayed with Samawati, and we will be back again. The house is unique, with lots of space. Susan, the manager, is incredibly friendly. She made breakfast and dinner for us each night and was very accommodating to our requests. She had perfect hospitality. Thank you!
