Villa Shivalay is a beautiful, quaint solar-powered bungalow, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 6-7 guests. It has a lovely lawn with a garden. The place is only 45 mins from the Kaziranga National park, 60 mins from Hollongapar Gibbon sanctuary and 30 mins from the Jorhat airport. We can organize safaris for guests. Your hosts Bina and Prakash (my parents) live upstairs and will treat you to lovely vegetarian meals with ingredients sourced from their private organic farm behind the house.

We reached the property at 3 AM after a tiring drive from Guwahati. It's a well built and well maintained villa with super comfortable beds. Unfortunately, we couldn’t spend much time as we had to leave early in the morning, but I’d love to book it again to enjoy it more. Khemraj Daa truly knows how to host.

Master Bedroom in a 3BHK Apartment with a view

Tshering & her co-host along with easy commute arrangements made my stay very comfortable. The property is at a convenient location & well furnished as shown in the pics. The double battery inverter is a life saver during power cuts. Hoping to visit again with my family soon!

Loved it! The apartment is very spacious, with great facilities and nicely located. The host was always very responsive and guest-oriented. Even when she was in the hospital she still got back to us. Everything was clean when we arrived and the caretaker-aunty coming by every other day made sure it stays that way. Overall a wonderful stay - highly recommend!

Spacious bedroom in a 3BHK Apartment

This property boasts of a great balcony view (catching the sunrise is a must) and provides all necessary amenities. The place is super clean and well put together. Tshering, the host, was warm and super helpful. She provided practical instructions as to how to navigate the area and also took great interest in making sure we had a wholesome and hassle-free experience in Nagaland. The caretaker, Monomi, turned out to be a kind and jovial soul and was always one call away in offering assistance. (I believe she offers to prepare homely meals on request too.) Maybe setting up an extra wash basin near the kitchen area would be a good idea? Idk, that's me nitpicking. But overall, great stay! :)

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The space was not only stylish but also impeccably clean. Great place. Better than the pictures suggest, especially the balcony. The host and caretaker are great and responsive. The food provided by the caretaker was excellent. Slightly far from market places but a local taxi stand is nearby to fix that. Overall very good place to stay.
