Usually I never write a review unless it’s something special. Mountain View Homestay was exactly what I was looking for in a Homestay. Location: Very peaceful surroundings and very close to Kohima. Accommodation: The room is bit small, but spotlessly clean and functional, very thoughtful interiors, clean bathrooms with all amenities. Food: The highlight of the stay was the simple and deliciously prepared homemade breakfast and dinner. Host: Anga and her sister Ketho and their mother made us feel at home, making sure that our stay was comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nagaland first time and sure you will feel at home instantly. Thank you the host of Mountain View Homestay for making our holiday at Nagaland an enjoyable experience..

Wonderful place. When we checked in, my wife thought the room might be bit small, but once we started living we enjoyed it more by day. Had separate indoor dining space and outdoor covered sitting space which made us enjoy the property more. Limanla was more than helpful in every possible way making us comfortable. I suggested her to offer a property at Kohima which we would love to stay at during our next possible visit. Thanks to Limanla and friendly staff.

I recently had a long-ish stay at aunty’s home and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the family was super friendly and incredibly helpful. They always had the best recommendations and the place was conveniently within easy walking distance of everything I needed. The accommodation itself is a dream. The room is spacious, airy, clean, and flooded with natural light. It’s peacefully quiet and private, yet cozy and thoughtfully decorated. There’s a kitchenette, hot water, a balcony, a verandah, access to the terrace, fast and reliable wifi, and even power backup. Not to forget Kitty, whose wagging tail and playful antics greeted me every day. I enjoyed some of my favourite chats with aunty and her children, learning a bit about the vibrant Naga culture. I was also fortunate enough to savour some mouth-watering local dishes. Truly, I felt welcomed and loved as one of their own. I already miss everyone terribly and can’t wait to return sooner than later!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay in Hobart. The moment I arrived, my hosts went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. The space itself was beautifully designed, offering a serene and restful atmosphere that allowed me to unwind completely. Every detail, from the cozy bedding to the thoughtfully arranged decor, contributed to a perfect environment for relaxation. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway. I would rate this experience a perfect 10/10!

Mom and I loved our stay so much. They are such wonderful people, super helpful and very sweet and kind. The rooms were clean. The whole house and the surrounding is super peaceful. The host and her family were super welcoming and they treated us like a family, cooked us such delicious meals and were always ready to help out. Pista their dog and the two cats too were super welcoming and friendly😘😂 Had a great great time. Now whenever we have any work in Kohima we will always be coming to them. With that being said I would 100% recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Kohima and is looking for a place to stay. Trust me you will not regret choosing to stay with them.
