The apartment is so close to the water that you don't have to put on your shoes to get to the beach. It is located in the Tamani compound and is behind four beach houses but has easy access to the pool and the beach. There is currently construction in the compound next to ours and the noise levels are erratic. The Sails Seafood Restaurant is next door. Access to other restaurants and shops are within a short tuk tuk ride. Fishermen visit daily with fresh fish that the chef will cook for you.

Beautiful place, a private and secure closed area with big fencing and nice garden. The host was all the time very friendly and helpful in everything. The garden and the pool is continuously cleaned and maintained. If you are looking for a peaceful environment close to the nature, you found one of the best places. I fully recommend. Monkey suites is definitely a must stay. Although the suites don't have a direct ocean view they are a short walk to a. pristine beach. The garden and lush greenery is divine with plenty of trees and a peaceful setting. The property is exactly as described and shown in the pictures and probably even better. Neva was a great host and very responsive. We had a great stay.

She gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and even helped us book water-based activities and restaurant reservations, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. Her hospitality truly stood out and added a personal touch to our trip. Highly recommended!

Juliana the house manager was great and really responsive and helpful with all requests. Will be staying here again when we return to Kenya. Thank you ☺️

Galu Salama - Peaceful paradise

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Galu Salama. Anni’s property is beautiful - very peaceful and quiet, away from the touristy areas of Diani. We spent hours in the immaculately clean pool. We slept well in the rooms that were spotless and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking supplies. The housekeeper, Nancy, welcomed us with fresh fruits and made us feel right at home. The house manager, Renson, took care of all our needs - from coordinating tuktuks for transport to sourcing and serving us fresh coconuts! Our kids enjoyed asking Renson all about coconuts and the mini lesson they got about the types of coconuts and its use in local cuisine. Thank you Anni for hosting us - we hope to visit again in the future if we are in Diani again!

My girlfriend and I stayed for four weeks. We had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful. The swimming pool is a decent size and cleaned daily. The garden is very pretty. It is located in a quiet, serene area which is great for relaxation. The town is only a short ride away (or walk if you’re feeling energetic) The beach and Congo river is a three minute walk away. The best part of this holiday, however, is the staff. Pascal the chef is amazing. He will cook whatever you like. My favourite food were the Swahili dishes. AMAZING!! Timothy the manager arranged a few excursions for us which were all great fun. The price was cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Geoffrey also made us feel welcome and was very friendly Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely return at some point in the future.
