Everything is Scottish & Skewed and low! Back-to-basic, cozy treats instead of bliss but with infrared sauna. Lovely to relax before you roll in the nice 2-p bed. To wake up in the morning with (or through) the smell of freshly baked rolls (bakery around the corner). Here you forget the hustle and stress of everyday life!

Vacation in beautiful Monschau-Rohren

Very quietly located apartment in a small but fine place. There is a small grocery store 250 meters away. 50 meters away is an MTB bike rental. Bicycles are of course available with and without support. The entrance to the Eifelsteig and Ruruferradweg are very close. Likewise, in the center of the village is a large playground built in 2019. In the village, there is a new very good restaurant. "Matthias im Gasthaus" It's worth a visit.

Vacation home "Buchenhecke"

Modern, light-flooded, well-kept apartment overlooking the Venn. Separate entrance. On the 1st floor is the living and dining room, the bathroom, the bedroom for two people and on request with baby bed. On the mezzanine is our sofa bed for two more people. Hikers and cyclists are only 300 meters from the Venn, Ravel and Velo cycle paths. In the surrounding area is the Eifelsteig, Rursee, Monschau Old Town and Vogelsang Castle.

In 2020/21, we completely renovated my grandparents' old farmhouse with a lot of passion and attention to detail and converted the lower floor into a large vacation home. In our old quarry stone house in Monschau-Höfen, up to four nature lovers, hiking enthusiasts or recreational vacationers will now find their place to feel good. Parking is available right outside the front door in the large courtyard.

Had a very nice stay. Everything we needed for a few days in the Ardennes. Good location, nice town nearby, beautiful hiking trails along the cottage and the cottage itself was beautifully and sleekly decorated. The spa was also a huge plus where you could sit in the sun until the beginning of the evening. Do take into account that it is not super private because of the neighbors and shared dining area outside. The traffic is also clearly audible, which is good to take into account when booking. All in all, had a very nice stay!

You get what you pay for! The accommodation is not cheap, but also amenities (with private garden and hobby room!), cleanliness, location and communication are not 'cheap', but really TOP. We are absolutely satisfied with the value for money and can therefore gladly recommend the accommodation.

We spent a wonderful vacation with our dog at Gerda's. The apartment was even more beautiful for us than we had imagined, very quiet, bright and friendly. Monschau is a very picturesque place, and our dog was treated respectfully everywhere, was allowed to enter shops and there was a water bowl at almost every corner. An all-round successful holiday.

Cozy, well-equipped and right in the middle of old town. Big enough to spend some wonderful days there. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the rur and the sound of the water lambs has been really perfect. I'm sure we'll be back.
