Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Murray County

Great place for a weekend getaway!

This duplex is in a beautiful setting in the country, but very easy to get to just off the interstate. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. Hope to return!

The space was great for us! Great central location and the house was roomy. Will definitely be staying here again!

My whole family enjoyed this place; we stayed 3 nights, brought all our food we needed, and did stuff around the area in the day time. It was peaceful, quiet, my 3-year-old could run around and be crazy, and he loved the fishing which was great for me because I got a break! I actually got to relax here. I also liked feeding the donkeys treats, and watching them, and we saw deer and a turkey. We needed the peace and nature and we would definitely stay again! Everything else we needed was provided.

I truly wish I could give more than just 5 stars because this home and this host deserve more than just 5! My girls and I absolutely fell in love with this home. The peacefulness this home offers in this often fast-paced world allowed us to slow down and enjoy every second together. I already know, me watching my children from the balcony as they enjoyed the outdoor amenities is a memory that we will all remember and cherish. Thank you for sharing your home with us and for being an outstanding host!

This place was perfect for the needs of our family. The host was very friendly and responded quickly if/when we had needs during our stay. We’d highly recommend it and would certainly stay here again if we’re in Ardmore again.

Perfect. Very peaceful and quiet. We loved that we didn't have to meet our host to get in; just simplifies everything. OH and the grill is propane! Glad to find that out as I'm not a fan of charcoal. The little guidebook on the table is super helpful; especially the walking trail marker. Spray some DEET and carry a tiki torch if you're going to the river! The 'skeeters are so thick as to block out the sun. It's super nice around the cabin though; not sure what they use for repellant (if anything) but one great attribute of the 2-story deck is a better breeze = less bugs! We will definetly be back.

Great place to get away from the city. Close to town and the lake. Lots of outdoor activities nearby. Beautiful amenities and the wildlife and bird watching was spectacular. The host was great and super responsive to any of our questions.

If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily living, this is your spot! 1200 acres of family history! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Very secluded with abundant wildlife and a gurgling stream. Once you are here, there is no reason to leave! Bring your own food and forget about going out! This place is a gem! Exactly as described. We plan to return! I aways wondered about “super” host, but now I understand. Eleanor took great care of us.

Wow! I cannot say enough about Cabin on the Rocks! It actually looks better than the pictures, in my opinion. This peaceful cabin is full of charm and character and most importantly, it was clean. The hot tub was an added bonus and a great way to wind down in the evening. We will definitely come back!

Really nice and peaceful. Kind of older but that's what we were looking for. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only issue we had was the hot tub wasn't working other than that the place was amazing.

Honestly, the photos did not do this property justice. The cabin is more spacious than you would believe. The very rich history, which is discoverable inside, is worth the trip alone. The privacy and trails were amazing. This is very family friendly. I will say, we were told to bring the bug spray. That part was not a lie, but to be fair, the area had been having record rain. We saw just about ever critter the woods had to offer. the views of the night sky are phenomenal. The reception is fantastically limited. It was perfect for unplugging. Eleanor was always receptive and accommodated my family get-together very well. Several of my family plan to rent this very location in the future.

Very cute, relaxing, and CLEAN! The hot tub was the reason for our booking, and it did not disappoint! Jennifer was very nice and allowed us to check in early (without having to ask) since they didn’t have guests the night before. Will definitely book again this summer to float down Little Niagara!
