Waterfront holiday rentals in Muri

Fantastic!! What more can we say..just a great quiet loacation and everything exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot to relax and reconnect with mother nature. Walking out the front door and being greeted by an amazing view of the lagoon would be one of our highlights. The accomadation was a nice size with modern appliances to cook meals if you desire along with a water filter. Eateries and a store 2 minutes walk. Both Sarah and Adam are wonderful down to earth hosts We would definately recommend ..

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the owner Sue. She was extremely helpful and informative. The accommodation was great with a fantastic view of the reef and perfect sunrises. The 3 dogs and 3 cats and heaps of chickens were entertaining. I flew solo but would be great for a couple as well. Thanks Sue !!

Lovely stay in penthouse. Beautiful views and short walk to peaceful beach with loungers. As mentioned in the description, there is a nightly ‘dog chorus’ but that’s not controllable as they seem to be scattered around the island. Overall I would definitely recommend this place- the grounds are well-cared for and the amenities, view and location are fabulous

It was a great experience.hey were very responsive to all of my enquires prior to the stay. Bill was very helpful and accomodating. He showed me all the interesting and important places on the island. TBill was very supportive since I was alone. It was very quiet and close to the beach for a walk along the beach. All eating facilities were within walking distance. It was a very convenient location for the buses going around the island. A car could be useful but not essential. The major town, Avarua was only four km away. The airport was only approximately six km away. There were paw fruits, bananas and passion fruits which were offered off the property. Bill made sure that the plate on the kitchen always made sure that fresh fruits were always on that plate. Bill was hospitable and I would highly recommend the place for either a single person or couple.

If you’re perusing Airbnb for the best place to stay on Rarotonga that has everything you need, look no farther! “Right on the Beach” studio was perfect for our stay. Diane is so approach willing to help with anything you need, as is her helpers that take care of the cleaning and upkeep. We enjoyed the location and the proximity to everywhere we needed to go. We used the outdoor grill and the hob for cooking some of our meals in, and also had amazing meals at the various restaurants we tried. Walking on the uncrowded beach in the morning and watching amazing sunsets at night were heavenly! We couldn’t have had a better time! We’ll be back someday!

Words can't describe how much we loved our stay at this place and our holiday in Rarotonga. The hosts are the best we've ever experienced on this platform. Everything is close, bus stop right outside, kayaks for use, restaurant next door. Water melon and coconut buns on arrival were just what we needed after a late flight. Use of the BBQ and amazing sea views from the balcony completed the picture. Thank you to our kind hosts for making this our best holiday ever...we will definitely be back!!

Perfect location for short walk to town, 15-20 mins easy. Big shower (wheelchair friendly) and toilet area, both very clean. Especially grateful that my elderly mother was able to access shower independently. I did have problems with regulating the hot water, but in saying that, Pasha did give clear details of who to contact should I need any help, I didn't, so its on me. Accommodation description was correct in terms of size ie small studio but it catered to our needs and we were very happy and comfortable with it. Mozzies were regular visitors until I lit the coils supplied by Sue and Pasha. Both Sue and Pasha were overly accommodating (so so grateful). Both hosts were overseas when I arrived which wasnt an issue as their clear communication and instructions made it a stress free check in, 5 night stay and check out booking. Would definitely book here again.

What a wonderful beachfront property with everything one needs for a perfect, relaxing stay. The bedding is super comfortable, the shower always hot, comfortable & inviting furnishings, & outside deck chairs perfect for a lazy beach day steps from clear pristine water, or finishing the day watching beautiful sunsets. Close to many restaurants & eateries. Rochelle and Winton are fantastic hosts. Extremely responsive to the smallest things, warm, friendly, generous, and genuinely nice people. They went above and beyond to make my stay stress free. I cannot fault this property and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is looking for a hassle free, relaxing stay in Rarotonga.

We LOVE staying here - This is our second time! And we will stay again next time we are in Rarotonga. The pictures are exactly what you get. Tia is very responsive and helpful. This place is absolutely stunning. The location is amazing with a beautiful beach right out in front and a gorgeous double balcony to watch the sunsets. So peaceful and relaxing!! Made use of the outdoor water equipment and outdoor furniture. Would throughly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful 2 bed house. Constance’s consideration and thoughtfulness to our late arrival was so appreciated. Treats on arrival was the icing on the cake. Hope to return again x

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The view from the deck is breathtaking and the lagoon straight out the back door was great for canoeing and swimming. The house is located near the night market, lots of activities, shops and places to eat. We had an amazing stay and would happily go back again!

We had the most amazing time at Starboard which was pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, the stunning ocean views took our breath away, and the villa itself was better than the photos. The infinity pool was our daily retreat, we couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the complimentary coffee, fruit, and fresh bread were great touches. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each morning was a highlight. While the beach in front of the villa is more for sunbaking than swimming, the pool more than made up for it. Muri Beach is also just a short drive away and perfect for swimming. Having the car included was amazing. It made exploring the island, going to dinners, and doing day tours really easy. Our host Anita went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (including meeting us at the airport on the final day to collect the car) - the epitome of a super host. Don’t hesitate - book now!

Anchor sands is a hidden gem of the cook islands, we are so glad we choose this Airbnb instead of a resort. We have 2 teenagers 14 & 16 and this place was perfect for us, kids could sleep in their own rooms with out being woken up by other guests. We were able to connect to the TV and stream Netflix and Prime. But best of all was the location, the best snorkelling and fish - straight in front of the house. We would see the tour boats anchor out the front each (far out, not close to the shore), so that tells you its a good spot for snorkelling. But best of all was the view from the deck, we sat their for hours each morning having coffee, relaxing and reading books. Its close to shops, not to far from town (25mins), Go Local turtle tours is just down the Road, Same with Wigmores (who do the best ice creams), and some great restaurants too, like Charlies, Vaima on the Beach, Little Polynesia. We feel staying here made our holiday, it is an exceptional property and location. Thank you!!!

If you’re planning a trip to Rarotonga I highly recommend staying at Sharon’s. Located right on a beautiful beach and walking distance or a short bus ride to Muri where there is a beautiful lagoon and lots of restaurants. The house was beautiful and clean, and lots of touches like plenty of filtered water left for us which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the kayaks whilst we were there as the sea was rough after a storm, but I would definitely stay there again just so we could kayak and explore the reef off the property. Our little one loved wandering down to the beach in the evenings to look for crabs. The kitchen had everything we needed, with a shop and Villis burger joint across the road - best burgers ever! The Cook Islands Coffee co is located right next door with the most delicious coffee and pastries. Waking up to the view of the palm trees and sea was a pleasure every morning. We did not want to leave!

Teresa place was great, there was a group of five of us staying for a week and there was plenty of room for us to have our space and enjoy the laidback pleasure of the house, the lagoon and raro. The house has pretty much everything you need and Mo next door who looks after the place is super helpful if you need anything or want local knowledge. As you can see from the photos, the place isn’t new and a few things don’t work but you’re in paradise, we all said that we would definitely stay again. Thanks Teresa.
