Villa holiday rentals in Munnar

My stay at Ghat’s Edge was nothing short of magical. Nestled right on the edge of a mountain, this place offers breathtaking panoramic views that seem straight out of a dream. Waking up to the sight of mist rolling over the valleys and the sound of chirping birds was an experience I’ll never forget. The property itself is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The hospitality was exceptional—warm, attentive, and personalized. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay. The food was delicious, featuring local flavors that perfectly complemented the serene ambiance. Vipin and team went out of their way to accommodate each and every request from our side ( most of them were on short notice). We really appreciate the effort from the team.

A beautiful resort on top of a hill, with dead silence and gorgeous hills-valley view. The best part is the sunrise on a secluded hill. Away from city life, surrounded by nature, it's the best place to spend private time in Vagamon. The staff is very friendly. Basic amenities with parking space. the journey to this resort is another surprise for off-road ride lovers. It was a great and mesmerizing stay.

The place was exactly as described in the pictures. It is a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and there is a constant sound of a flowing water stream which calms you down. The property is very neatly maintained. The nearest town is 12-15mins away. The caretaker is very prompt and delivers food when required.

A pool would be a great additional … Great property, but food could be improved. Maybe try a different restaurant.

Had the best view!! As we walked in we saw out the big window and it didn’t look real. The caretaker took care of ordering us dinner and breakfast was included. The area is very difficult to get to and quite scary with a car at some points but once you are at the property it is lovely. The caretaker arranged for a jeep to pick us up at additional cost and it was very nice to off road the mountains. The home was very clean and bedrooms were spacious. Kitchen came with bare necessities of plates, tea cups, and utensils, fridge and stove. Very peaceful stay

Great place to be with family. Especially if you come in the winter season you can feel the cold . Vattavada is one of the coldest places in Munnar . There is a beautiful waterfall and viewpoint which is located 4kms away from the Villa. However the only downfall is that the last 3 km stretch from koviloor vattavada town to chilanthiyaar where the place is located is pretty bad . There is literally no road. We took our XUV all the way to the place and it was hard. Some people are taking their small sedans as well. But if I knew the last 3 kms was this bad i would have taken a Jeep service from koviloor to the villa in chilanthiyaar.

We spent 5nights at Sunil’s place . It was peaceful , very relaxing , comfortable. The house is in a beautiful place . It feels like it’s in the middle of the jungle but Anachal town is only 3km away . There’s a great swimming pool and terrace to relax on . Sunil is an amazing host . He organised every trip for us and ordered food for us from a nearby restaurant every evening . Each morning we were greeted with a delicious breakfast (we could choose between Keralan and European ) and our rooms were cleaned regularly as well. Our trip to Munnar was a great success due to our stay at Arabian nights . Ps. Avoid staying at the towns if you can . They are loud , crowded and extremely smelly due to huge traffic congestion !

It’s nice place to hang out small groups .. feel like private . Great food .. specially breakfast.. next time will go July August .. rainy season .. to explore River ..

Very satisfied with the stay. Host was friendly and responsive. Good surroundings with no noise. I would highly recommend for families to stay. Host helped us in getting the food delivered right to the stay from nearby restaurants.

Fantastic location with beautiful surroundings, with mountains and paddy fields. I stayed with our family. The property manager Renjith was very friendly and hosted us very well. The campfire was excellent. Boney is very responsive and friendly too. Overall, we very much enjoyed the stay.

Such a beautiful and clean property with stunning view.. Staff were friendly and feels safe space for travellers. Breakfast was definitely better than outside restaurants and the view was too pretty
