We had a fantastic stay. The house is very old, very nicely decorated and renovated just enough to be comfortable while maintaining charm and authenticity. We felt right at home. The environment of the house is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for discovering this beautiful region as it is a short drive to the various nature reserves. Shops are also nearby (by car).

Great place to stay, good location to visit things on the west coast (train station less than 10 min walk from the house, many nice places reachable within 30 min by car). Excellent house when traveling with kids/babies (many games, trampoline, sandbox, …). 2 comfortable double bedrooms + 1 bedroom for kids. Cecilia was really reactive when we had questions and provided useful information about the activities to do in the area! We strongly recommend this house!

It really felt like a villa should be. Plenty of space, modern and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. We were six adults, a toddler and a baby and enjoyed the stay very much. The little ones also had a lot of fun - especially in the huge garden, which invites you to play and discover. The house is technically well equipped: we were able to use the Google Home system and listen to music throughout the house - this created a great atmosphere. The robot vacuum cleaner was also super practical and made our everyday life easier. The whirlpool was just one of many highlights! Everything was very clean, furnished to a high standard and thought out to the last detail - you can just see how much heart is put into it. The contact with the hosts was warm, attentive and uncomplicated. Thank you for this wonderful stay. We will be happy to come back! 🌟

Really lovely place on the Swedish west coast. The cabin is placed on top of a hill, in a cabin area, giving you a nice little view of the valley. Quiet area with a few neighbours, but we only saw a few people. Close to the cabin there are plenty of forest paths, making great running and dog walking routes. There is also a beach, as well as a more cliff-like area where we went to swim, super nice !! You don’t have to leave the area if yo are having a chill holiday. The cabin itself is very new and freshly decorated. We were surprised with how well-equipped the kitchen was, which made for lovely cooking. One note, if you are four adults, is that the bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a window you can open, making it a bit stuffy. Would be probably best for two kids. We particularly enjoyed the garden and patio, and BBQ many nights as the sun set over the garden. The place also has a trampoline, which would be a nice surprise is you have kids. Would definitely visit again

Nice and spacious place with everything you needed

Incredibly charming cottage in a lovely, quiet and beautiful place. A little tufty and wildly close to the house but it is weighed up by the charm and unique location! Comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us adult and 3 kids and 2 dachshunds (who would have loved to explore the fields even more) Maybe good to highlight the hunting week celebration more in the listing? THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting us rent your lovely house!

We had a nice stay at Daniel's place. The cabin had everything one might need. Peaceful and rural. Nice with a bathing water nearby. We also took the opportunity to go to Liseberg. And we found two other swimming spots not too far away. Highly recommend Daniel's place.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully located between the rocks, giving it a peaceful and private atmosphere, yet still close to scenic walking paths with amazing views. It’s also just a short distance from the ferry, which made getting around very convenient. Malin was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

It was a nice place that is very suitable for staying with kids. The swimming pool was very popular, just great. The kids loved bathing there. The two bedrooms inside the main house were the best. The other two may be best suited for children/adolescents. The living room was spacious and great patios likewise. It is also a good road to Fjällbacka, 4 km. We walked a hiking trail over Vetteberget and down the stairs to the cozy center of Fjällbacka It's a nice place with nice and helpful host that can be recommended

What a wonderful place! The kids loved running right out from the apartment onto the big grasslet with a football field and playground. Great pool and lovely beach, where the kids bathed all day and fished crabs on the dock. We had a great stay here. Definitely recommend and we would love to come again :)

Another amazing holiday in Lottas house. The house is cozy and cozy with all the amenities you could wish for. Cozy stove. You are filled with peace and cozy here. The plot is lovely with a combination of mountains, forest, wooden deck, pool, berries and flowers, etc. Lotta offers great tips and suggestions and responds quickly when you have questions. We appreciate that the location is private, where there is a lovely tranquility. But great that it is close and easy to get to different places: 10 min into Strömstad and 4 min down to Rossö harbor and various swimming areas, chef holes and nice places. Many thanks to Lotta and little house on Älgö for this summer, see you again!

Thanks for an excellent stay in the house! Everything was functioning perfectly, a beautiful charming home, clean and well equipped. And Pelle answered helpful and friendly our questions. We can highly recommend this place !

Good place to explore the area. Unique is the hot tub and Sauna next to the cottage that you have to yourself. Parents gratefully used but children also liked the hot tub very much, fired up with wood so start on time. Will make the owner available, free of charge! Garden the children can play well in and there are toys for the children, garden also nice to play. Cottage itself has no nice views, you are in the garden of the owners as if you are in the garden of the owners, but that is not an obstacle for us. The area certainly offers beautiful views. Good in the middle with Smogen, other villages and nice hiking trails. On the other side of the canal (1 km) there are very nice routes on the left. Also been around by bike, but there are no bike paths in the immediate vicinity. Hostess, friendly and helpful!

The location of the house and its accessibility, the house itself with its great and spacious furnishings and above all the constant accessibility of Carolina and her always very helpful tips have made this vacation an absolute experience and celebration. Like everyone else, we were sooo satisfied, our dachshund liked it very much, we all recovered very well. This house and its owners are an absolute insider tip: where else can you see deer, a fox and also a hedgehog running across the property? In addition, the many greens and even more water in the area: What more could your heart want... We wish Carolina and her husband many more satisfied guests like us and will not only keep this beautiful property in the best memory, but warmly recommend it to friends. Our numerous Swedish relatives, who visited us at the café and got to know many vacation homes in Sweden, were also full of praise.

A beautiful and lovingly furnished cottage with a great garden to stay. You feel right at home! A wonderful hostess who also gave helpful tips for things to do before arriving. As is the case in Sweden, it is far everywhere: 30km to larger shopping and an hour to the sea. Unfortunately, there are no options for walking from the house if you don't want to walk along the street and back. Bringing bicycles is certainly recommended, as there is no rental facility nearby and you are otherwise 100% dependent on the car.

What a wonderful place! The house is very charming, the garden( we ate berries and fresh salade from it!), the view on the forrest and the fields with flowers.... We and the children liked the outside shower very much. Even when the weather is cold outside, still it is comfortable because it's warm water! The kitchen is adorable and the living is so cosy... We've had a very nice and correct contact with Irene. Thanks again... We will never forget this lovely place. Who is looking for basic authenticity, you are on the right place!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, this cabin is your place. It is not a modern cabin which is what makes it so cozy. Especially loved the dining area and living room with the old wood stove, feel like you have gone back in time. Even though the cabin is fairly small, they use the space really well. There are beautiful walking trails behind the cabin, and also a pond within walking distance. Access to the sea is by walking the main road down 10 min and there is a dock that looks like good swimming in the summer. Host was attentive and kind. I would definitely come back!
