Made a very last minute booking, José was very helpful . I have a 4x4 and the drive to the location is so fun! The home is bucolic and charming. I plan on staying here again when in Huehuetenango // I made a last minute reservation, Jose was very attentive. I have a 4x4 and the trip to the place is more fun than I've ever had. We had an amazing time staying at the CUEVA/cave at Hacienda del Cafe! My husband and I spent 5 nights here, using our car to take day-trips around Huehuetenango to see Laguna Magdelena and do a bunch of hiking. We very much enjoyed having coffee provided in-suite and every day we were able to order our dinner from their fantastic menu ahead of time, and loved being able to request to have our dinner and drinks brought to our patio for a private, romantic, and peaceful dinner. We also LOVED using the hot tub on our private patio every night, as well as the BUCKET LIST WORTHY shower in the Cueva. Seriously stunning. Definitely recommend having your own vehicle to come and stay here so that you can do your own excursions during the day, if you're planning to stay for more than one night like we did. The owners were super hospitable and friendly and we even got to chat with them one evening while enjoying sunset! Wonderful people and wonderful place!

We loved Carlos place! Everything was so peaceful and private . Staffs was so responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay. The AirBnB has excellent amenities also the restaurant was great. Food was very delicious. I will definitely come again.
