Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso. Il posto è davvero bello, immerso nella tranquillità della campagna. L'appartamento è spazioso e ben arredato, con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. La terrazza è un angolo perfetto dove godersi il panorama e, per noi, far giocare il nostro cane. Ciò che ha reso il soggiorno davvero speciale, però, è stata l'accoglienza degli host. Alessandro e la sua famiglia sono stati davvero eccezionali: calorosi, disponibili e sempre pronti ad aiutarci. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. Inoltre, ci hanno dato ottimi consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni, dove mangiare e sugli ottimi vini della zona. Ci hanno anche organizzato una fantastica cena a base di fiorentina cotta , preceduta da un piacevolissimo aperitivo. Anche il nostro cane ha apprezzato l'ambiente, i dintorni e soprattutto le attenzioni ricevute. La zona è perfetta per chi cerca pace e tranquillità, lontano dalla folla turistica. Consigliatissimo.

Cristiana and Mauro were the most friendly hosts. They made us feel immediately comfortable and set us up for a great stay at their wonderful home, offering some fabulous nearby dinner recommendations, as well as directing us to local grocery stores, and train stations for easy day trips into Florence, etc. The farmhouse is beautiful and brimming with character throughout, offering spectacular views over Vicchio. The private swimming pool is bigger than the photos suggest, and not too deep - the kids loved it. The hot tub allows you to sit back and drink in the peaceful Tuscan views. The sauna was a great touch, which we enjoyed throughout our stay, along with the pool table/games room. The outdoor terrace is large and great for a BBQ. The road leading up to the house is a fun drive - we rented a 4x4 (highly recommended if you are planning to stay here) that made it relatively comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return as there is so much more to explore there!

L'appuntamento e il giardino sono unici. La signora Elena e suo marito sono stati molto cortesi e hanno accolto con disponibilità le nostre richieste. La pulizia è superlativa. Mai trovato un appartamento così ben organizzato. Bravissimi!

Borgo San Lorenzo is a beautiful town, and this place was in the perfect spot. Walking distance to every thing. It’s the only way to experience true Tuscan life. The local people are friendly, the food is fantastic and the culture is rich. Only a train ride away from Florence ( train station is walking distance too) Our hosts were kind, and the place was wonderful!! We highly recommend!!!

It’s a really nice place to spend your holiday. The house is beautiful, it is a tipical tuscan styled accomodation. The host was really kind and helpful, she answered to all our questions very quickly. I highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful and unique place! It looks even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Very peaceful and well appointed. A bit tricky with a car since the roads and driveway are quite narrow, but we managed! Quite a few stairs, but it’s well worth the effort and adds to the beauty and incredible views. Kiran is very helpful and pleasure to communicate with.

La Casa dei Ghiri è stata la location perfetta per festeggiare il Capodanno insieme ad un gruppo di amici. Franco, l’host, è una persona molto disponibile che ci ha aiutato fin dall’inizio con tutti i nostri dubbi e ci ha fatto trovare tutto l’occorrente per la prima colazione, oltre ad alcune bevande. La casa è grande e bellissima come da foto, immersa nella collina toscana e perfetta per staccare qualche giorno dalla routine lavorativa. Prima di entrare c’è una luminosa veranda che dispone di un caminetto con griglia, le camere sono grandi e spaziose, la cucina è attrezzatissima e dotata di qualsiasi tipo di pentola e padella, uno dei salotti dispone di un caminetto funzionante, mentre quello al piano superiore è perfetto se si ha bisogno di una buona connessione ad Internet. Internet che funziona bene anche al piano di sotto, ma solo in determinate stanze. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e torneremo volentieri anche in estate per poter utilizzare la piscina!

We stayed for 4 weeks, it was really relaxing and we absolutely loved it. It's perfect for nature lovers. The house is huge, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and sofa beds in the living rooms downstairs. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We work online and the internet was fine. On stormy days we enjoyed the fireplace. On sunny days we enjoyed lounging on the lawn, hiking, and exploring the lovely nearby towns. The area around the house is full of olive groves, chestnut groves and forest. Due to the huge biodiversity I'm sure it's beautiful any time of the year. We went on many hikes up and around the mountain. The trail starts just up the driveway, you can find it on AllTrails. We came without a car, only bikes. Going up the driveway was challenging but do-able. Giacomo and his parents were great hosts. They were super helpful and kind, and responded quickly whenever we had any questions. If it wasn't booked for other guests we would have stayed even longer.
