It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

The entire house was made in solid construction by the carpenter. On the terrace right in front of the cottage you can also enjoy the river view outdoors wonderfully. Unfortunately, we had to shorten our stay for health reasons, but we still enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was easy to reach due to the description given by Andreas, once there we were received by Andreas, he showed us the apartment and gave us a folder with hiking routes and possible activities in the area. The apartment was as shown in the pictures and very clean and tidy. They felt right at home there. Communication with Andreas was always friendly and uncomplicated. All in all, definitely a recommendation if you want to take a vacation in the region.😄

We stayed in the accommodation for the second time! Everything is great and especially cool with the sauna in the apartment. So you don't have to leave the house in the evening (especially if you have a dog like us and can't just go to the sauna alone). Therefore, for us, the perfect place to stay for hiking and relaxing in the Harz for a weekend! The charm of the old half-timbered house also contributes to this, of course. And that the accommodation is very centrally located (city center, parking, etc.). See you next time :)

I spent my first solo vacation (with dog) in Stefan's chalet. I felt right at home. The chalet is very cozy, in the kitchen everything necessary is available. You can start very nice hikes from there and are also within 30 minutes on foot in the village center. The terrace is an absolute highlight. There, you have sun all day long.

Unfortunately, we only spent one night in the beautiful tiny house of Holger and Grit because we were invited to a wedding. One could have lingered longer. It was super nice, cozy and quiet. Everything was very well maintained and clean. There are shopping facilities nearby, but you won't notice the hustle and bustle of the city. We lacked nothing and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommended!!
