Cottage holiday rentals in Mousehole

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

We had the most wonderful time.The location of the property is great for exploring and the setting so peaceful! The pictures perhaps did not do it full justice as it was even better!being in a bath over looking the countryside was next level! Clare was very clear on the whole process of how to get to the property,check in,ideas for places to visit and things to do.The personalised written message and goodies are special touches that mean a lot so thank you!cannot praise everything about our stay enough!we hope to be back!X

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, the place was very clean & specious with everything all ready for us when we arrived. Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you x

Our stay was lovely. Tracy’s cottage was absolutely immaculate and inviting Felt warm and comfortable with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers,scones and chocolates 😊 Tracy was a pleasure to communicate with as well. Warm and responsive I could tell she was a warm and kind hearted person right from the get go

This place was such a great find! We’ve just got back from the most perfect week away. We originally only booked for 4 nights but we extended our stay as we were having such a wonderful time. The place is just lovely with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved our welcoming gifts too. Kate and Simon are brilliant hosts and were extremely easy to contact. St Agnes is a beautiful location with some superb coastal walks. There’s also plenty of places to go out for food and drink. The beach is stunning also. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is considering it (just book it!). Thanks again for a brilliant stay Kate and Simon!

An enjoyable stay in a secluded area. WiFi in the area is patchy, get ready to unplug from the matrix!! Friendly and helpful hosts with a lot of local knowledge. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Ian Northampton

Fantastic stay at Sophia’s. The place was great with lots of art by local artists on the walls and sculptures as well. Sophia left us milk, hot cross buns and butter - so welcoming and a very nice touch. Very quiet location and right on the edge of great walking over the old tin mines, literally! Just a 5 minute walk and on the cliffs with the sea pounding away. The pub was a short 5 minute walk, inviting and friendly.

Nic was very quick to respond to all my questions and gave perfect directions to the cottage. The cottage was absolutely perfect! Wonderful high ceilings, plenty of space for us, kitchen was well stocked with an absolutely lovely welcome basket that we enjoyed on the outside patio. Opening the windows and feeling the fresh air and hearing the sea was perfect. The bed was very comfortable; bedding and pillows were perfect. Nothing at all to say negative about the cottage. Literally perfect in every way for us. The center of Marazion was only a few minutes to walk to and had so much to offer. We truly enjoyed our stay here so very much and have fallen in love with Marazion and the friendly people. Definitely recommend and will plan on visiting again!

The cottage was both cosy and comfortable, just what was needed for our weekend break. The wood burning stove was an added bonus and made the cottage feel warm and snug on a very wet day. Both St Ives and The Minack Theatre were within easy reach. The cottage was very clean, with a good sized kitchen and sitting room. Lovely views from the back bedroom. The beds were very comfortable

Das Cottage ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Buslinie 17 - Haltestelle Pendeen, Morland ist 5-10 Minuten entfernt. Die Wanderungen zwischen Leuchturm (Pendeen) und Sennen entlang der Küste sind einfach bezaubernd. Die man sehr gut auf mehrere Etappen einteilen kann. Wenn ihr dann in euer Cottage zurückkommt fehlt es euch an nichts. Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer (ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen), tolles Bad, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und ein sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem sehr ruhigen Pendeen. Wir würden wieder kommen wollen.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

We stayed at James' Telegraph Cottage specifically to go to a production at The Minack Theatre: it was an excellent choice in so any ways! The theatre was within walking distance, there was a fabulous nearby beach, and walks were endless. The accommodation and James' hospitality were superb: both ensuites were new, the cottage was roomy with a quite large kitchen and the garden was a great asset for sitting and having an evening wine! James was always so quick to answer the questions we had, and emailed copious notes regarding finding the place, pubs and walks. Couldn't have been better in every aspect. We would like to return!!

We loved our time at the Piggery, it was very cosy clean & tidy perfect for the two of us. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to the Minack which we visited Host communication was very good, we would come back again

Lovely cottage in very rural surroundings well equipped and comfortable. Explored the area on bikes, quite hilly!!! Levant mine at Pendeen worth a visit

My wife & I along with our 3 month old baby spent a week at William's cottage. William is an attentive host, providing clear instructions and assisting with any questions we had in a punctual manner. We primarily used the cottage as a base to explore the area each day and it was a perfect place to come home to. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard with modern fittings. We noted how quiet and cozy the cottage is in the evenings. Porthleven is a small town and the cottage is a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Kota Kai is definitely a recommended restaurant as family friendly and excellent food.

Ganz tolles Haus. An alles gedacht! Das Haus war unheimlich sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Und das mitten im Dorfkern. Die lebendige Dorfgemeinschaft war großartig. Gegenüber des Hauses gab’s die Dorfhalle, wo jeden Tag etwas anderes stattgefunden hat. Einmal gab es frisch gemachte Pizza, am nächsten Tag einen Farmers Market und am dritten Tag haben heimische Künstler ihre zum Teil wirklich schönen Sachen ausgestellt. Auf jeden Fall ein Gewinn

We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole, what a fantastic village. Ben’s place was a perfect location with stunning views at low or high tide. We loved the decor in the house which was so fitting for the location. A special,unique part of Cornwall and certainly a highlight for us. Wonderful location for a very relaxing and fantastic family break!

Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche. Flushing ist sehr idyllische gelegen. Von hier aus kann man viel unternehmen. Wir haben oft die Fähre genommen nach Falmouth, die nur einen Sprung vom Cottage entfernt anlegt. Im Ort gibt es zwei tolle Pubs mit leckerem Essen, so dass man auch gut mal das Auto stehen lassen kann. Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen.

From the moment we opened the door we knew it would be a great place for us. Perfectly put together. Very tastefully decorated for the period of the cottage and immaculately presented . It made us feel at home immediately. We stayed for 6 nights. Explored Mousehole and surrounds extensively by car and lots of walking. It is in a great position. Quiet, close to everything including the water. Would thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Grey Cottage. The interior was so beautifully and stylishly yet simply designed - the quintessential fisherman’s cottage but updated - with all the charm and atmosphere one would hope for. We loved having coffee in the conservatory in the morning and eating takeaway from Mousehole’s lovely food shops on the nights we were too tired from hiking to eat out. Mary Ann was so helpful and responsive - she went above and beyond to provide, for instance, unscented laundry detergent because of my allergies, and to answer the numerous first - timer questions I had before and during our stay. We felt so taken care of and so lucky to have stayed in her place. Of course we cannot wait to return! Thank you Mary Ann!
