Holiday rentals with a patio in Mount Vernon Square, Washington

This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

Lovely apartment. Clean, well-appointed with everything we needed. Quiet, family-centric neighborhood that is walkable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the parking space in the rear which allowed us to explore DC without worrying about navigating parking downtown. Lillian was communicative and proactive. The overview of the neighborhood and close by conveniences was helpful.

I had a great stay here! I really loved that I was able to find a place that allowed me to travel with my dog! Great location, very close to everything in DC and great places in Arlington. 10/10 recommend!

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

Alana’s place is really right in the middle of Mt. Pleasant — one of DC’s best neighborhoods. Short walk to breakfast tacos at Tejana, ice cream at MDI, pupusas at Ercilias, the metro, bike share, Malcom X park, etc. It’s amazingly quiet for being right in the middle of everything. A great home base for a DC visit.

We loved our stay, clean place, no clutter and so much was within walking distance. All eateries recommended by Host were tried and enjoyed. We always felt safe walking around. Taxis & Ubers always available. By the way DC yellow cab was always cheaper. The only negative that might be a problem for someone is it is noisy in the early morning, wasn’t a problem for us for we always got an early start. Also as a warning, if you have a mobility issue with stairs, I would not recommend, but if not I would recommend every time. I would definitely rent again.

Keith was a great host. The apartment was perfect - clean and in a great location. The street was charming and location close to many restaurants and metro stops! Would highly recommend Keith’s apartment for a stay in DC.

It was a perfect house for us and our adult children and their spouses. It is a beautiful home in a great location. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Trader Joe’s is just a block away. Samir was very quick to respond to our questions. Secure off street parking was a plus. All the basics were in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. Full sized products in the bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Samir!

Home was clean and comfortable. Great layout for having grown children along. Coffee bar and deck are nice bonuses. Convenient location, especially having a grocery store in eyes range. Close to several nice restaurants and short commute to local attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Stuart’s home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. What stood out to me the most was Stuart’s responsiveness about any inquiry I had during my visit. He was timely and always friendly. I very much appreciate his professionalism! Thank you also for the gift card for the restaurant next door! As others mentioned in their reviews, the street noise can be loud at times. We may have been a little more sensitive to the noise as we were not visiting the city for vacation. However, using my phone’s white noise app was really helpful to drown it out when needed. I would absolutely recommend Stuart as a host and his home for a great place to stay. The home’s location felt very safe and it was very convenient to walk to restaurants or corner markets. Thank you for everything!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels and coffee. Not to mention the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The location was perfect—peaceful, but still close to everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay. The home itself was big enough for 6 adults to stay there comfortably, and the rooftop balcony was perfect every morning and evening. Close to major DC attractions. Michael was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed him as well. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stay in the DC area.

Excellent first Airbnb experience! Space was exactly as described and impeccably clean. Located in a beautiful, secure, quiet neighborhood directly across from a park... so pleasant hearing kids playing while heading out to our car instead of typical hotel noise. Daisy and Steven were fantastic hosts, responsive, friendly, and thoughtfully checked on our comfort without being intrusive. Great amenities including off-street parking, EV charger, coffee bar, snacks, and welcome wine. Clear instructions made everything seamless. Would definitely book again - highly recommend!

Eric’s place is wonderful in a very quaint neighborhood! Communication with Eric was excellent. The home is very comfortable and accommodating for families and large groups visiting. We were in town checking out the DC sites and the proximity from the home to the Glenmont Metro was close and easy. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every appliance or cooking utensil you could need to whip up a meal. There’s two washer and dryers and plenty of towels which is really convenient for large groups. The backyard hot tub was nice for relaxing especially after a 20,000 step day exploring DC (phew!) I would most definitely recommend this home and host!

This unit in Columbia Heights is charming and very comfortable. It’s in a great location, easily walkable to the metro station and very easy to find. Love that there was a parking space for use, which is difficult to find in DC. The unit was very spacious and was great for my husband and I to spend the week. The kitchen was great and well stocked with coffee, dishes, and other necessities. Living space is clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. Meredith was a super host and provided great instructions both for check in and check out. This was an excellent place to stay while visiting DC!

This was a wonderful stay. I loved how they communicated. Very informative. I was in town for multiple events and the furthest i traveled was 12 min. The location is amazing. Compact amenities. Definitely recommend

We felt right at home in Ian's place. It was very clean and exactly as described - spacious, walkable to so many things yet tucked away and private enough that it's quiet at night. One thing to note is the bed is incredibly firm.

This is my second time staying here and I just want to say…Amazing hosts! They were very warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. They are very responsive and clear. They had great recommendations for things outside of the national mall. Clean space and close to the metro. I will be back again.

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

Me and my husband had a truly fantastic stay here at the Jewelbox. It is in a very sweet neighborhood that is the perfect walking distance from E-bikes, a park, multiple bus stops, a gas station, and convenience stores. Each one of the hosts on this stay made me feel incredibly comfortable to say if I needed ANYTHING!! They put effort into making it very easy to find where to park, and took previous feedback to make things even better than before. I seriously loved the stay here and WILL BE returning⭐️

The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!
