White Barn is centrally located 600m from the North Hobart cafe/restaurant strip; 1.5km from the city, 2km from the waterfront and 15 min drive to MONA.

Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

This fully renovated one-bedroom Edwardian cottage offers comfort, warmth and convenience. The self-contained interior mixes old and new with original 1910 features and 21 century finishes. A highlight is the collection of birdlife watercolour paintings by the acclaimed Australian artist, Robert Ulmann. Single storey, with walk-in shower, full kitchen, laundry and no stairs will make it an ideal choice for many visitors. There is off street parking and a colorful courtyard garden outdoors.

A haven for weary voyagers seeking refuge after a day of exploring and it is my home in between voyagers visits.

Or for those sunnier days, throw open the French doors and enjoy a coffee in the courtyard.

Located within 50 metres of the North Hobart's entertainment strip; full of restaurants, wine bars, cafes and cinema and within walking distance of city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and bigger groups.
