Mary’s Lanham home is beautiful! Enormous swell kitchen, dining room, living room in one connected open space area, just divine! The team and family deserve praise for making Airbnb such an attractive success at an inexpensive price! The rentals here raise Airbnb standards. I read the “for-sale” sign outside with much disappointment!! The unit is sufficiently thorough in offerings I am hesitant to suggest two small improvements: a kitchen microwave to allow fast heating of food and an Internet desktop computer allowing fast print jobs, at an affordable price.

Andi was a warm and welcoming hostess and her dog, Peaches, was a treat ❤️ Her home was very clean and cozy, her bathroom was classically beautiful especially with the skylight and the beds were very comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was serene and adorable. Andi’s instructions were very clear and kept us informed about even the smallest details about her home to help us understand how the doors work, where to put things, etc. This last part isn’t necessarily something we minded or cared about at all during our stay, but as a heads up, the location of her home is quite a while’s away from where the main part of DC. So be prepared to spend time on the road to and from the city’s center (maybe 30-45 minutes) during rush hour traffic and you might spend a pretty penny on transportation if you use uber/lyft/empower instead of your personal vehicle. Anyway, my stay was stress-free and I enjoyed chatting with Andi and Peaches! Thank you for the hospitality!

Spacious, Cozy, & Private 2-Bdrm in DC w/Parking!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very communicative and responded to all our questions promptly. We were in town for a graduation, and the location was ideal and not too far from Gallaudet University and convenient to many of D.C.’s main attractions. The property itself is beautiful and seems to be either recently built or nicely renovated. The neighborhood is walkable, and major sights and airports are only about 20 minutes away. The only thing worth noting is the parking setup. It requires parallel parking in the driveway, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. While it wasn’t a problem for us, it could be a challenge for those who aren’t used to parallel parking, especially if you’re coming from areas where that’s not common. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d definitely recommend this apartment to others!
