Apartment holiday rentals in Mount Florida, Glasgow City

This is a gem of an Airbnb, which suited us down to the ground not only because it was close to family but on account of its relative seclusion (despite which, the centre of Glasgow is within easy reach). It's an amazingly peaceful property to the rear of and beneath the hosts' home, opening out onto a garden that resembles a small nature reserve: it is truly lovely. The hosts themselves kind, considerate and responsive. All in all, no guest could ask for more. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer and we recommend this property wholeheartedly.

Excellent place for a restful sleep. The king bed was marvellous! Super comfortable! Ali is a very helpful and responsive hosts and he allowed us to leave our luggage at 9am. This is so helpful as we can start travelling around Glasgow without needing to bring it around. Many thanks

The hosts were flexible and friendly regarding our arrival time. The place was beautiful and clean, and had everything we needed. They even left us some dairy-free groceries, and gave us some restaurant recommendations for our 40th wedding anniversary dinner. Excellent experience!

The flat was a good size for three adults and the beds were very comfortable. The host was incredibly thoughtful and left some goodies in the fridge, which was such a nice touch. The location was perfect—close to lots of great restaurants and easy to get around. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Glasgow!

Lovely flat in a quaint building with old world charm. Very close to museums and beautiful parks. Lots of restaurants if you want to go out. Quiet and relaxing if you want to stay in. Groceries and local small businesses are plenty in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to city centre as well as to Loch Lomond. Host was friendly and courteous.

Lovely apartment in a great part of Glasgow. Quiet location but close to the west end one of the best areas. Although the apartment was small it was stylish with some nice design touches. Very comfortable. Ross was a terrific host - friendly and very responsive. Highly recommended.

Very nice house, very spacious and well-equipped. very comfortable double bed and very practical sofa bed in the living room. In addition, the house is close to a very nice park where it is pleasant to rest after a day of hiking. Finally, the owner is very responsive, welcoming and dynamic. We highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Stuart’s Airbnb in Balloch, Loch Lomond! The place was comfortable and had everything we needed — a real home away from home. It’s in a perfect location, just a short walk from the loch, restaurants, and local shops. A superb base to explore the stunning surrounding area. Stuart was a brilliant host — friendly, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommended!

The flat was very clean, organized, and a 10 minute walk from the train station and Aldi. Balloch is a 30 minute walk where there is a park and restaurants. Ronnie was responsive and clear in his instructions.

A wonderful stay. I was there for work at the University of Glasgow, and it's just a five minute walk from the flat. The area is very quiet and I slept like a baby (unusual for Glasgow because in other parts of the city, they're partying until 4 am.) It's right next to a subway station so getting around is super convenient. Should I ever return, I'll certainly check for this unit's availability. Lovely cozy apartment with everything you need, even for a longer stay. Walking distance to city center of Helensburgh and in perfect location to access Loch Lomond and surrounding mountains. Hosts were friendly, communicative, providing precise descriptions of the property and amenities and giving recommendations for activities/restaurants etc. Very lovely experience.

We were here to catch up with family, but also had a great time exploring. Kilmacolm and the surrounding area has so much more than we expected. We visited Kilmataj and The Cork and Keg - both highly recommended. The accommodation itself is definitely a “Cosy Retreat” with everything you need for a short break.

Really great place. Very quiet and peaceful. The place was spotless on arrival, with basics (tea, coffee and cookery basics) provided. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. 15-20 walk to the very centre of town. Clear and very responsive communications with Sid!

We had a wonderful stay at Callum’s place. It was clean, conveniently located and had pretty much everything we needed. Callum even provided a few snacks and drinks for us upon our arrival. It was the perfect home away from home for our 6 week stay in Scotland and we will certainly be staying with Callum again when we’re back on the area. 10/10 stay and host. This Victorian building just feels comfortable and spacious with a very large bedroom, dining and lounge room. The Glasgow bus service is a short walk away and can take you to your designated venue with little trouble or you can drive. A lovely botanic garden is within walking distance. The accommodation is peaceful and private and met all our needs at a reasonable price. Stephen provides great support when required and enabled us to feel comfortable regarding our stay. I would put this BnB on my short list when visiting Glasgow knowing I can park my car at the front of this building and utilize its very good location for attending inner and outer Glasgow attractions.

This property was just what we needed. Stephen was an excellent host-just had those extra touches in the home that were welcoming and he was really helpful. The amount of space is excellent. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We really liked that it was between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Easily caught the train into Glasgow so we didn’t have to worry about driving or parking. A short walk to train station. Edinburgh airport & Stirling Castle in about a 40 minutes drive. Quite neighbourhood. Easy walk to some grocery shops. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily rebook if we were ever to return to Scotland.

Perfect location, quiet and roomy. Parking was easy and we never needed the car again until we left. Loved the high ceilings, moldings and windows. A lovely neighborhood to stay in for our first visit to Glasgow.

Very good stay at Elainn's, Milngavie is a very nice town, its pedestrian city center is 2 steps from the apartment, as is the train station. The welcome basket was well stocked and we enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our stay in this flat. Plenty of space to spread out and well located near restaurants and sightseeing. The videos provided on how to access and used appliances were incredibly helpful. I wish all owners would do the same. If we return to Glasgow I would stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends.

We stayed at Greg’s place for two days and had a great time. Everything was exactly as described and had all that we needed. We would have happily stayed for longer and have no hesitation recommending for a stay in Glasgow!

Outstanding location in Merchant city. Unit was spotless and exactly as described / shown. 4 people can stay comfortably here and the place is close to so much to do and major rail stations. Don’t hesitate booking this location, you won’t be disappointed!

I had a really nice time in Helensburgh and especially at the apartment. It had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy! The flat is really close to the Central trainstation, but quit a walk from the Upper trainstation. I underestimated that walk uphill. The flat is close to the waterfront, which I loved! All in all my stay was very nice and I can absolutely recommend it!
