House holiday rentals in Mount Coolum

Our family of 5 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful time staying in this big and clean house. The kitchen was well stocked and the sheer amount of kids utensils was impressive. There was plenty of space to move around, media room and the pool table added on to the fun. The only minor issue was that we thought the heated pool would be warm enough in winter but it wasn’t and the kids didn’t manage to get a dip. Nonetheless, glad to have stayed here. Thank you for hosting us!

What an amazing location!!! We felt very spoilt staying here. We enjoyed 2 nights with hubbys parents and it was perfect. Big house, and although it was too cool to swim the kids were still entertained by the pool table and fishing off the pontoon, and the nearby attractions (fyi- the laser tag about 8 mins up the rd is fantastic!) The house was clean, spacious and homely. Kitchen had everything we needed and multiple dining areas to suit every mood. Beds were super comfy, and the double shower was amazing!!! It was so nice to a quick break away and spend our mornings and evenings out the back on the deck overlooking the canal and feeling jealous we didnt have the energy of the locals who were out there paddle boarding up and down all morning. Lucy was extremely helpful with questions and ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and we have already started planning trips back to stay again on our next opportuntity for a quick getaway. Thank you Lucy

Wow wow wow. We stayed at Rowan House for Mum mum’s 80th a perfect house for a large (11) multigenerational group. Given the house is about 80 years old itself, was a fitting venue. Moya is an amazing host, very quick to respond to questions and , and met on arrival to explain the ins and out of the house. The house itself is a beautifully presented, quirky, rambling old house perched on the side of the mountain with great views back to the coast. A great entertaining house - bedrooms are all well presented with quality linens and plenty of pillows/ blankets. The kitchen is perfect for feeding a large crowd - plenty of fridge spaces, ample everything you need. Moya unexpectedly, and very kindly, had stocked us with some staples and plenty of party starters. Fire place, tennis’s court, great views - was all fantastic. The only complaints we had were that we had to leave so soon.

I recently stayed at Bahasa House, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the standard of renovation, furnishings and the serene atmosphere. The location is unbeatable—just 800m to a beautiful beach and only 200m from the Mount Coolum National Park entrance, making it perfect for both relaxing and adventure. The natural, chemical-free pool was a highlight that coupled with the sauna at this time of year made for a fantastic start to the days. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts have clearly considered the details to ensure guests feel welcome. There’s plenty of parking, and having the entire property to ourselves made it feel like a private retreat. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with tonnes of extras, Bahasa House is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Had a wonderful stay here, very accomodating and the place was very beautiful.

We were so impressed with Andrew's beautiful house from the moment we stepped in. It certainly has the WOW factor. It accommodated our 7 adults and one baby perfectly. We utilized the shared facilities, and whilst the pool was cold, the brave of us managed a couple of quick dips. The bonus was the hot outside shower! We had a great stay, and would happily recommend. Andrew is a great host and was always extremely helpful.

As soon as we walked in we were transported to a peaceful, tranquil place. It was everything we were wanting in a family getaway just perfect. Very clean. Living area was just perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 small children.

Angela was an excellent host she was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable We arrived late so she had the lights on ready and the heater going for us for our arrival The house is the cleanest we have been in and very modern Would highly recommended to anyone needing a getaway Regards Darren

We had a great weekend stay with family. Great location with a short drive to lots of restaurants and beaches. Also a few nice restaurants almost across the road that had great breakfast/coffee & Thai food. The house was well Maintained and beds very comfortable. We felt right at home.

Trish was an excellent host. Her instructions were timely and accurate which made renting very easy. Beachside is a beautiful and peaceful area within easy walking to the beach. The house backs onto natural bush which is a plus. A great place to relax.

We loved the airbnb, the place was beautiful, in a great location (easy walk to shops and beach) and the house had so many amenities and appliances, absolutely loved it.

lovley big unit plenty of room upstairs and down,great view of the pool and quick easy access to it. easy walk to the beach and the cafe. local busses easy to catch,we had no car. Only thing we miss was having Air-conditioning the unit could benefit from it. there were a couple of times it was hot,and fans didn't really help. Cozy cabin vibes all the way! Even though it rained most of the time, we loved our stay. The cottage is both inviting and luxurious, perfect for catching up with friends and drinking mulled wine around a fire. The view is mesmerising even on misty days. Sarah is a great host - very responsive and able to accomodate an earlier check-in. We really appreciated the little gift basket! Overall a beautiful space - would 100% recommend!

We had a great stay at Marnie’s place. The Airbnb was perfectly situated and meant we could explore lots of different areas of the Sunshine Coast. Australia Zoo, Mooloolaba, Maleny and Terella Brewery are all roughly an easy 25min drive away. The space is gorgeous, very clean and thought out. We had some chilly nights / early mornings but every room had plenty of blankets and there is also reverse cycle heating. Marnie was very helpful and responsive - 10/10 would recommend!

Isabel’s home was beautiful! Our team came in on the first night and were welcomed with a beautiful letter and small gifts that made us feel at home. Her home was clean, spacious and warm. We enjoyed the pool and ping pong table, and felt there was so much to do. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Isabel was really clear and kind in her communication, it made it easy for check in and checkout to happen smoothly.

This was such a great house! We took the family: kids, grandkids, and dogs and there’s plenty of space for everyone. Kate has provided everything you need in the house so all we had to do is turn up. The location is so peaceful and walking distance to the beach, Friday markets, cafes and the surf club. The only problem we had was with the grandkids when we told them they had to leave 🫣 Will definitely be back!

The house was amazing, 5 star in everything, incredibly well appointed kitchen with high quality cookware, crockery, glasses, knives and serving dishes for a large group. A great BBQ on the verandah and amazing views from the hinterland to the coast. Furniture was all high end, super comfortable and plenty of it. Beds were comfortable with gorgeous linens and covers. Everything was perfect.

Such a Beautiful Location with Stunning views! Nature surrounds this lovely home, the euphony of birds was comforting! Our furbabies and ourselves were very comfortable here. Thankyou kindly Janice

An incredible stay. Peaceful, has everything you could need for a stay and the most wonderful pool. Our favourite place to stay!

The place is magical. The surroundings is very peaceful and it really resets your brain into calm mode. The outside bath tub is very romantic, of course we couldn't try it as we were freezing!!! Rustic appeal, with modern amenities. The kitchen was gorgeous and has all you need to whip up whatever you like. Thank you Charlie!

This place was such a beautiful and relaxing last minute stay for myself and my partner! The location is so perfect, steps away from the beach and a divine pool to relax in. The host and co host were very responsive and quick at replying as well which was amazing. Definitely will be recommending this stay to everyone! Thank you guys!!

We celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary and our dog’s 5th birthday at Riverdell Retreat, such a beautiful and peaceful spot! We were greeted by a cows on arrival and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Carolyn was a lovely host, and the house was clean, comfy, and pet-friendly. What’s even better is that it’s only a 2-hour drive from Gold Coast City, so it feels like a proper escape without having to go far. We even got to take home some local wagyu beef!
