Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mortagne-au-Perche

Very nice welcome in this Percheron country house that has kept its character! Carine was extremely welcoming and we were able to enjoy this magical place as a family. All positive!

The Perche area is outstandingly beautiful. The apartment had a lovely view across the fields and into the distance. Saw deer everyday. The houses and towns in the area are very characterful. For those who like tourist attractions there is not a lot in the area. For those who just want peace and beauty you will not be disappointed. The spiral stairs up to the bedroom are steep but no different to what is advertised. The quality of the bathroom upstairs means you can confine to going up/down to once a day! Roads to and from the property are quiet and wide enough for two cars. We had a lovely 5 day stay.

In a haven of tranquility by the river, an adorable little house absolutely in line with the description of the ad, ideal for a couple, awaited us. Aleksa and Alexandre are very charming and welcoming hosts. For a future stay, we would prefer the other house at the end of their land, which has a garden and a more private terrace, offering more privacy and direct access to the river. The walk with the canoe provided is a real plus with its green and bucolic environment. The center of Chartres and its cathedral are 15 minutes away by car and the castle of Maintenon, which is worth the detour, is 35 minutes away. Loved our stay!

Very good welcome from Thierry in his little paradise. The house enjoys absolute calm in a bucolic location. The garden is beautiful and very well laid out. The house is perfectly equipped (special mention to the particularly comfortable bedding). We'll be back without hesitating.

Olivier's house is nestled in the bucolic and soothing setting of the Perche. The elegant and neat decoration testifies to a refined taste. The exchange with our host was smooth and warm, and the arrival and departure times were very flexible. We had a lovely stay at Valentin's. The apartment is very good, faithful to the description and well located. Being in the city center, it may be more difficult to park depending on the time, but there are free spaces in the adjacent streets. I would this property.

Short stay in Alençon in Grégoire's apartment. No complaints, great location, easy access, and parking without much difficulty. The apartment is bright and super well-equipped. The condition is impeccable! I can only recommend it!

This was a lovely place to stay with our two dogs. The grounds are large and the horses in the fields were great to see. The bed was comfy and the blinds ensured all light was eliminated Syed for a good nights sleep. Spephanie was a friendly responsive host.

Nice and spacious apartment, nice that there is an extra bedroom if you have a sleep disorder like I do. Good beds, nice spaces and details. Delightfully quiet, friendly and helpful reception. For those who do not speak French, the owners speak English. Definitely recommended.

Excellent stay in a lovely apartment. Clean, bright and well furnished accommodation 15 minutes walk from the train station and city center. Free parking spaces 5 minutes' walk away. I recommend

Perfectly clean, spacious, really bright apartment, with a beautiful kitchen with very recent appliances. 2 very large closets in the hallway allow you to easily store linen and personal effects of 4 people (wardrobe and linen): to unpack the suitcases without anything lying around in the living room or bedroom. The bedroom side bedding combines comfort and quiet at night. The sofa is easily convertible, for those who like a firm bed. The long balcony allows you to have a coffee outside and partly overlooks a public garden. The house of the holy spouses Zélie and Louis Martin is 5 minutes away, the basilica and the old streets 7 minutes away by strolling. Everything is within walking distance, once the car is parked just in front, no worries even with a large 8-seater vehicle. We'll keep the address for a future stop in Orne!
