Riverside Cottage was perfect for a restful week away before my operation. The scenery was stunning and the location so peaceful. The dogs were happy as they could could come and go as they pleased as the garden was so secure. Everything you need for a break away was supplied and the host was a message away if you had any queries. The hottub was an added bonus and was made the most of throughout the week!! A most enjoyable break, we will definitely be back

Beautiful property, comfortable, clean, welcoming, had everything we needed, good size, lovely bathrooms. Simon and Amy were perfect hosts, friendly and keen to help. We loved The Hub shop and cafe, fascinating and beautiful local area. We particularly enjoyed the tithe barn. We’ll be back.

Had an amazing valentines stay here with my partner. Clare was the perfect host and the barn was the perfect property for our stay. Very quaint, peaceful and secluded. With lovely views over the farmland and a short drive from some beautiful towns

We had a lovely stay at Meng’s place. The garden was perfect, we enjoyed especially having breakfast looking down the valley. The place was immaculate, very well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Our dog loved it too. St Anthony’s well is just a few steps, couldn’t have asked for a better location. Meng’s hospitality was superb. We will definitely be back!

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

My partner and I stayed at Sarah and Mark’s property for our engagement weekend, and they truly contributed a memorable weekend. The space itself is amazing and well maintained. You are welcomed to a bright and open property that has all the facilities you need to have an amazing stay, from a well fitted kitchen with cookbooks to an open living space with a fire and tv. Bathroom and bedroom have everything you need, even down to robes to make you feel at home. The hot tub area and garden is a peaceful area where you are greeted by nature. The animals around the garden are properly fenced away allowing you to have your dog off lead in the back garden (fully enclosed) but still get to go up to the animals who love to come and say hi to you! You have great privacy from the main house, particularly in the hot tup area which is finished off nicely with a cover should it rain. Overall the space could not have been more perfect, we had no issues and we will look forward to staying again.

This was our second visit to Elmside and we would 100% recommend anybody to stay here. Lovely and clean, and a hot tub to enjoy. Great location too. We hope to come back for a third visit someday. Thanks Lynda & Gary for being fantastic hosts.

Beautiful little three level cottage home right in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Full amenities, comfortable beds, Smart TV , dishwasher etc. Low ceilings on the ground floor as expected in a 17th century cottage so not an issue. Highly recommend Captains Cabin for any exploration of the Cotswolds

Would highly recommend staying. Jackie is a brilliant host and gave us loads of local knowledge and tips to add to our itinerary. The barn itself is lovely and extremely dog friendly with the summerhouse and paddock included.

We had a lovely stay at Dolly’s Cottage. Beautiful surroundings and the inside was pristine, both exactly like the pictures. The weather wasn’t great for part of our stay but it was very cosy in the cottage. There is plenty to see and do close by. The Kings Arm pub in Mickleton has a great garden and the food is good too. Highly recommend staying here!

Really lovely cottage in a very peaceful village. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable with everything you need, just watch out for the low doorframes if you’re tall! It is in a great location to explore the Cotswolds and Will recommended The Red Lion pub, a few minutes drive away for dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a fantastic few days away and would stay here again. Thank you Will and Amy.

Lovely to see Jane again and really appreciated the tasty cake on our arrival. Looking forward to seeing all the places we know and some of the places we haven’t been to yet.

Highly recommended, my family & I would return. It was so lovely, that we just wanted to stay in and sit by the wood burner, or the back garden in nice weather. Beautiful kitchen, separate dining room, and living room. Comfortable beds. Extremely clean. Well appointed. It was perfect accommodation.

Fabulous little cottage in such a peaceful area. A shop, cafe and pub all within walking distance. Chipping Norton or 'Chippy' as it's locally known, is a lovely area too with lots of pubs and restaurants and a great antiques centre. It was easy to drive to all the destinations we had looked at before going. Janice also has lots of local knowledge and books if you're stuck. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with lovely outdoor seating when the weather behaves. There was also milk in the fridge and amazing fresh crumpets to greet us after our drive. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for a very memorable stay.

Had such a wonderful last minute getaway with my daughter and our pug! Such a beautiful place to stay with stunning views. We will be back!

I don’t know that I’ve ever been happier at an Airbnb. My mother and I enjoyed every second at the cottage. Its idyllic location, cottage charm, and beautiful gardens were exactly what we were looking for. I will gladly trade the lack of a long hot shower for everything else the cottage brought to the table. Jane and William were gracious and helpful hosts with loads of information and recommendations which were all top notch. I hope I get to visit again sometime.

We had an amazing stay! The house is adorable. It looked just like the photos and was a country-side dream! We felt like we were living in a fairytale! The host was very communicative, gave great instructions, and made our stay simple and easy. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area. Overall, excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at Vicky’s cottage. It’s a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, a beautiful, picturesque town with lots of local independent shops; there is even a footpath shortcut into the centre, which we only discovered on the last day. The cottage is very clean, tastefully designed, and I liked the kitchen, which is very well equipped with high-quality utensils. The bed was very comfortable! Vicky left us a bottle of wine and a pack of croissants as a welcome gift, which was very kind. Vicky’s communication was excellent; she responded to any questions within a few minutes. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely 2 nights. So relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend a stay here. Area is great, lovely deli and coffee shop 5 minutes walk! Easy to get to all tourist spots. Claire’s place was clean and extremely welcoming. Claire was full of local knowledge and very helpful. The garden is amazing! Will definitely return.

A beautiful, peaceful spot! The cottage is next to the house but because of how it faces, it feels really private for both. A lot of thought has gone into this place and it shows. Paul was warm & welcoming, we couldn't resist buying some of his wonderful honey. The mezzanine is huge, the photos don't do it justice! The kitchen is tiny but well stocked. I've lit plenty of wood burners before but Paul's tips still taught me something new, & I got a strong fire going with just 1 match and no firelighters. The downstairs bedroom and ensuite were perfect for my partner's elderly mum who has reduced mobility, and though she could manage the low sofa, she was happy in the armchair. Visiting from Italy, this was her first experience of the English countryside and she absolutely loved it! The meadow was perfect for a wander in the sunshine, & the views from the big windows were gorgeous. The Cotswolds isn't cheap, but this place was worth it for such a special trip!

Right from the booking stage we were made to feel welcome, and Lindsay’s house is as described and probably better than the pictures show. Everything was there for us and very clean and tidy. Communication, house instructions and location are all great. Perfect location to show some Aussie friends the Cotswolds area. Would recommend. Thanks again Lindsay.
