The three of us had a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We learned to cook some of the local cuisine. Enjoyed floating in the pools and stream, massages, walks in the forest, sustainable architecture with bamboo and thatched roofs. The compound is astonishingly beautiful in its natural beauty. We can't say enough about the hospitality of the host and her cooking and knowledge. The peacocks were particularly enjoyable to watch, we never minded their calls. We also found the steps a good daily exercise for us. It was a perfect stay for us who enjoy nature and the sustainable ways in which we engage with it. We also visited the nearby villages and city of Cuernavaca and the archeological site of Xochicalco, which we loved.

It was an incredible experience and was everything that was promised and more. Hector and his family are the kindest and most welcoming people. Me and my fiancée both really enjoyed our stay at his place and will be definitely coming back soon

We stayed at this amazing peacock sanctuary in Morelos and it was a wonderful experience. The place is really nice, surrounded by nature and full of spaces with a very nice design. There is a spring, a river and a jacuzzi that made our stay even more special. What we loved most was admiring peacocks and other bird species in their natural state; it is a perfect place to connect with nature. Fernanda, the owner, was very kind from the moment we arrived. She gave us clear instructions and useful recommendations to make the most of the spaces, such as the use of firewood and food. The staff, Claudio and Cristal, also supported us a lot during our stay, which made us feel even more comfortable. It was an unforgettable experience to enjoy as a family, and we would definitely recommend it. The place is much nicer in person than what can be described. Everyone we met here was a true artist! From the home's fascinating designs, to the food, the hospitality, and the location in beautiful Amatlán – everything felt so thoughtful and creative. It was the perfect place to feel inspired by the surroundings and slow down your mind. Already dreaming of our next trip back!

A very quiet weekend. The house is perfect for 4 people; it has beautiful views and all the amenities for cooking and spending a few days out of town. It is 15 minutes from downtown Tepoztlán. The house has several rest areas for home office and living. Many thanks to all the staff who supported us :)

Julio's place is super quiet and cozy, much more spacious than it looks in the photos. As a host, he is very attentive and experienced, which allows him to guide you on your trip. It is important to consider that the accommodation is shared: The kitchen and amenities are common. This is very clear once you arrive, but if it is your first time in a shared accommodation it can cause confusion at first. It is a place surrounded by nature, so you may find many insects in the room. In our case, it was very rainy, and it is understandable that they came out more on those days. The stay was very comfortable and pleasant, we liked the green areas and the common areas (since what we could enjoy almost all), the idea of being an ecological accommodation goes totally with what is shown inside the place, the communication was accurate, the idea of the tamanco to see the sunrise is super nice, and the kitchen although it is shared is very comfortable (it is equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy a delicious coffee).
