Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Montserrat

If there was any surprise, it was really how lovely the house and the setting was... pictures don't do it justice! All the conveniences of home and more in a lush tropical setting...we couldn't ask for more! Todd was super responsive as a host and provided many suggestions that made our stay even more enjoyable. Same for Mark, the property manager! Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

What a joy being at this peaceful location! Jerely’s parents, Garfield & Hyacinth, are the absolute best and most hospitable property managers/taxi drivers/pretty much anything you need them to be hosts, EVER! We felt extremely safe & secure. They even gave us groceries for breakfast. 🥹 The rooms are suitable (even come with air conditioning), but the weather wasn’t too hot, so you may not even need it. THE VIEW IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS: Walk out to the front, & you see the most tear-jerking oceanic scenery…*chefs kiss *. Can NOT wait to come back to this lovely home, & most lovely family. We felt right at home as they checked on us almost every day…love this family so much!!! Disclaimers: The photos do have the pool pictures but please keep in mind the pool is at another villa about a half hour away. You will definitely need to rent a car or have taxis on hand, but they help you a TON getting those. The dogs bark a lot (bring ear plugs?), lawn is mowed a lot but it’s PERFECT here. :)

I really couldn't have asked for a better all-around place to stay in Montserrat! It's a basic but comfortable accommodation, with 2 beds, a well-stocked kitchen, fridge, a shower with hot water, and lots of strong fans - but no air conditioning. The wifi worked perfectly throughout my stay, and at a consistent 100 Mbps download speed it might even be the fastest in all of Montserrat, which made getting some remote work done here a breeze. Very easy checkin - the hosts helped me arrange a taxi in advance to bring me to the place from the airport, which I'd highly recommend as there aren't many taxis waiting at arrivals. It's also in a great location, very quiet and peaceful, around a 15 minute walk downhill to the famous black sand Lime Kiln Beach, and a 20 minute walk uphill to the nearest restaurants in Salem. Jerely and Mikhaila are also outstanding hosts - they are extremely responsive and friendly and made checking in and out super easy.

you need to be prepared to be self sufficient in Montserrat especially in Isles Bay which is beautiful. Some things are hard to come by and expensive but that is due to the circumstances of life on the island. Beautiful and clean and unspoiled.

Great place, had everything we needed. Very responsive property manager who dealt very quickly with any minor problems we had. Also great communication from property owners before our stay.

The villa was lovely with beautifully kept gardens all around it. A nice veranda too with lovely garden furniture which was nice to sit in the shade. Location was perfect for us, although need a car. Pool was great & very clean. Initially had an issue with it which was immediately dealt with & Wendell was always on hand should we have needed him. Only negatives: No air con in the lounge area or bed 3. No trays to use in the oven for cooking, which is a minor point. Overall really pleased with this pretty villa & wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to others. Thank you Wendell for a lovely holiday

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Gary and his place. From the moment I inquired about his villas he was accommodating and very responsive. He recommended the best private suite for a very memorable birthday trip. His on site manager Aurora was very helpful with check-in and recommendations as well as personalized service from both her and Gary. The view was beautiful and the grounds very well kept. I highly recommend this property or any that Gary manages.

My wife and I visited Montserrat for St. Patrick's Day and for her birthday. Gary told us about the island and walked us to our unit. He helped us find a rental vehicle and told us about the festivities happening during the week. The grounds were densely covered in vegetation and the unit was very private. Our unit had 2 mini split air conditioners and a window unit and cooled off quickly. The pool was nice and we spent quite a bit of time socializing with other guests there. Taxis and buses were easy to book for people who didn't rent vehicles. The people were very friendly and the island is beautiful. Lessons learned - rent a vehicle well in advance, book airfare to the island before early as well, don't expect to buy much in the way of souvenirs. Montserrat is a great place to relax and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
