Nestled by the river Seine, in an artist village in the region of Champagne, this former priory is located only 100km from Paris (55mn direct train between the neighboring Nogent s/Sein and Gare de l'Est). This is an authentic and ressourcing place, newly renovated, loaded with 400 years of history. We have decorated the house with love and care, the equipment is very generous. Bikes of diverse sizes (for adults and children), kayaks, SUPs and other inside and outside equipments are available.

In the heart of the historic center of a small village, the house is located 200 m from several local shops: bar/tobacco, bakery, butcher shop, small grocery store, pharmacy, post office...

Small detached house with garden and fireplace, located in the countryside at the edge of the forest in a small very quiet hamlet. Possibility to walk in the forest without taking a car. Various board games are available as well as many books and documents about the area. Bicycles are available free of charge upon prior request. Our house has all the modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The interior is spacious and nicely decorated. The living room is the perfect place to relax with a book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals, including an induction stove, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Gîte de la Nigelle

Behind a gate framed by two huge stone dogs, a charming house appears, crossed by a stream that reveals its former use: the abbey mill. Legend has it that King Clovis, hunting in the surrounding woods, was seized by the beauty of the place and came to rest there.
