Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Montjuïc

This place is a gem!! Not only were the accommodations clean, comfortable, and as described, Yolanda is a hostess who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and right at home. She provided so many extras, including a homemade chocolate cake and some delicious little orange fruits from the backyard orchard that we had never even seen before. Delicious!! She was quick to answer all our questions and even arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The house is located in Zone 1 of Barcelona’s public transportation system and is easy to get to. It took around 20 minutes to get to the main metro hub with all the connecting lines in downtown Barcelona. (We got the visitor Hola Travel card and never had any problems.) We’d definitely stay here again!

David is very accommodating and helpful. The house is in a well-maintained condition, the furnishings are good. We enjoyed being outside of Barcelona. But the S-Bahn also has an excellent connection to the city ... every 10 minutes. We have recovered well.

Charly is an outstanding host - so accommodating, friendly, helpful, and really wanted us to enjoy his space and his neighborhood. The apartment is beautiful, very clean and fresh, fully stocked with all the necessities and more. The view and peacefulness from the private balcony is unmatched. As a host, Charly met us at check in, showed us how to work everything, and even personally drove us to the local train station so that we could find the way. I hope someday to return just to be able to stay at Charly’s place and enjoy the space.

The most beautiful view of Montserrat. Genuinely stopped multiple times to comment on how brilliant the view was and the whole apartment is designed so you’re always looking outwards. A simple set up with everything you need for your stay, very easy arrival and helpful hosts. Thank you!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and cozy village, where you can find various shops and also a market. There are several cities such as Mataró and Barcelona that we have visited at a short distance. Upon arrival, a large fruit bowl was ready for us and the (fridge) cupboard was filled! The cottage is exactly big enough for 2 people. We made extensive use of the shared outdoor space with swimming pool, which were not used by Toni and Olga during our stay. Around the evening there are mosquitoes, so they have brought a lot of things for that, such as candles. It is wise to bring your own anti-mosquito spray if you want to sit outside in the evening. Toni and Olga are very hospitable, they responded quickly to questions or requests.

The villa exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect home base for our group trip. The space was well-designed with plenty of room (and bathrooms) for everyone to spread out and have their privacy, while also featuring beautiful communal areas that brought us all together for meals and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, the secure parking gave us peace of mind, and the pool was gorgeous - we spent hours just lounging. Our host was incredibly warm and responsive - any questions we had were answered quickly and thoughtfully. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful retreat with a host who really cares about your experience!

Silvia's flat in the Vila de Gracia neighborhood was perfect in location, and perfect quiet neighborhood feel. First of all, she was very sweet and personally greeted us, gave us instructions on how all the amenities worked, and left us a great little list of local places to eat. We took advantage, and the two places we tried were great! If we stayed longer, we would have had the time to try all her recs. Second, the eclectic style of her place was just great, especially for my two daughters. They both loved it. The backyard patio was beautiful. Like many Spanish style homes, out in the street, it doesn't look like anything. Just a door and maybe a window out front. But once you go inside, it opens up, usually with a beautiful tropical/lush garden out back. We really enjoyed her personal interior decoration style. Third, it was very centrally located for our needs. We focused on visiting Casa Batllo, and the Sagrada as we has a short stay. And it was perfect for walking to them.

my husband and my 5 yo stayed at Narciso's place for 5 nights. Narciso is an extremely friendly and kind host. He allowed us to check in hours earlier as our flight landed in the am. he received us with a smile at the apartment and went out of his way to walk my husband around the neighborhood for recommendations. everything you need is provided in the apartment. Narciso feels like someone you have known for years! we took the tube to go places and see the major sights. the travel time was around 20 minutes minimum to get yourself to a central station. grocery, pharmacy and cafés are all walking distance to the apartment. we loved our stay and I am sure you will too! thanks Narciso!

lnma is a friendly host offering a safe and welcoming space. I really enjoyed the location, it was safe and walkable to everything l wanted to do doing my stay. l would recommend to solo travellers that like to walk.

Marta’s apartment was magical! We spent many days and night on the terrace, a beautiful breeze blowing, birds flying around, and at night we could hear the joy of the city. We could see a sliver of the Mediterranean from the rooftop. The place was so clean, lots of great restaurants and bars nearby, and the space was comfy and roomy. We found a great local restaurant named Lolea … we ate there 3 times and the ceviche was the best we’ve ever had. Her place is centrally located and we enjoyed Barcelona immensely!!

I had a fantastic stay at Maria’s place in Barcelona. The flat was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Maria was a brilliant host, super friendly with great communication throughout, which made everything really easy. The location was perfect for exploring the city. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!

If you want to stay somewhere quiet but near all the major attractions this is the place. Great communication at all times. Check in was easy using your mobile phone. Clean and well equipped apartment Bed comfy, hot shower with lots of clean sheets . Would definitely recommend it

Absolutely fantastic! Carles was very responsive and even coordinated an airport transfer for us which allowed us to skip the very long que for a taxi. Apartment was clean and quiet. The air conditioning was perfectly cold (we are usually hot and keep our home AC set very cold). We cooked a full dinner for 4 people with the kitchen equipment provided. WiFi was fast and consistent. Location was great…we walked to Park Guell and the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

We’ve stayed in a number of air bnbs in Spain and France, and Rob’s place is our favorite. The location is great. The patios are lovely. Rob was very responsive and accommodating.

This place had everything we could’ve needed and was very spacious! Loved the pool and the transportation to the city centre was very easy! Mari was great and gave us so many good recommendations. I definitely recommend to everyone!

Perfect way to end our 2 week European Tour. Beautiful beach view. Private and quiet. Lots of amenities; well stocked with beach necessities (sun umbrella, chairs, blankets, extra flip flops, toys/football, etc). Great way to get out of Barcelona but still have access to the city and airport. All six of us were very pleased with the two night stay before hopping back onto a plane ✈️ to fly home.

the apartment is stunning- comfortable, clean, spacious and full of art. the balcony is divine. checkin was super easy, marc was very responsive and helpful. the apartment also has AC which is important in the summer. highly recommend!

Marc’s apartment was fantastic, very stylish and we loved the thoughtful and creative decoration. The bathroom is amazing and you can brush your teeth with a view of Sagrada Familia! The space and amenities were perfect for a week stay, and we enjoyed the sunny roof terrace. We were in town for the Grand Prix so location was ideal for easy walk to Sants station, but also easy reach for great dining and tourist areas like Poble Sec, Montjuic and Saint Antoni. The apartment is also well located if you are planning a trip to Montserrat, easily done from Placa Espanya. Definitely go to V de Vermut bar for an intro to Vermouth! Hopefully we can return to Marc’s place in future!

We had a great stay at this apartment and cannot recommend it enough. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well, we didn’t encounter any problems. There was coffee, some water, wine, hot water was always available, the beds and towels were clean. The place is big and spacious and exactly like the pictures. It is also very close to the metro station and there are plenty of places to eat and drink next to it. It is a little noisy at night but tolerable.

Very clean and perfectly located appartement. Air conditioner, lights, closet, kitchen, bed... all perfect. The host was very welcoming and very responsive. One small inconvenience : the bathroom is a little small.

This was our favourite place to stay in Barcelona! The host was extremely lovely and shared great recommendations. They were responsive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We loved the apartment, the decor was so wonderful, and the neighbourhood was lovely and local. Would definitely stay again and recommend for any stay in the city!
