In a green setting on the banks of the Loing and on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, we welcome you to our recently renovated cottage, in the center of the picturesque village of Montigny-sur-Loing. The train station is a 7-minute walk away (trains every hour in less than an hour to Paris Lyon train station), shops (supermarket, bakery, post office, pharmacy, small market, pizzeria, restaurant…) are 5 minutes away. The forest will offer you beautiful hikes as well as climbing sites.

June, July and August 5 nights minimum. Our recently fully renovated cottage is set in the middle of a large garden on the edge of the pretty village of Montigny sur Loing. A peaceful rural hideaway on the edge of the 25000 hectare Fontainebleau forest famous for its boulders. Shops 5 min. walk. The train station with direct trains to Paris Gare de Lyon every hour is a 10 min. walk away. 2.50€ a ride. Free parking at station. 55 min. train ride to the heart of Paris.

We are a family of four who stayed at the Grande Maison for a month and it felt like a 'home'. It is a spacious house with a fully equipped kitchen, large living/dining room, sunny terrace and comfortable beds. It is in a quiet street with a Carrefour Market and Boulangerie close by, which was great. Lovely small village with access to the river for swimming.
