“My fiancé & I had an incredible stay at the yurt and it was the staple of her frontier birthday adventure! From the moment we walked in we were impressed— from the solar inventer system that provided ample lighting to the little decorative touches like the Charles Dickens collection, useful trail maps & even a chess set and playing cards. We’ve never stayed in a yurt before and this was a spectacular first experience! Just a short & beautiful 45 min or so drive in Moab made it a perfect off the beaten path getaway for us. The wood stove was also a nice throwback to very fond childhood memories of my great aunt’s log cabin in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in SW Virginia.”

“During one day of our stay, an unusual 18 inches of snow fell and we couldn't get out of town. Becky and her family cleared the snow and brought over a box of games and toys just in case we didn't want to brave the snowy roads (we didn't). Later Becky and her family invited us over for dinner. We hung out for hours while our son played with their kids, getting all his cooped-up energy out. Despite the snow, we now have wonderful memories of Monticello, and we even made it back to Arches the next day!”
