Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montgomery County

Stayed here with my 17yr old son, for one of his golf tournaments. The property was clean, easy access, quiet, and convenient . Kitchen was well equipped, beds were really comfy !! Couches were a bit dated, and could use some upgrading, but that would be my only recommendation to change. The rest was perfect Thx again , and yes, we’d stay here again !!

We were in town for our daughters graduation in Blacksburg. This house was a convenient distance, about 25 min from VT and met all our needs. Its really a hidden gem if you are looking to house family who are coming to the area to celebrate or heading to a game at lane stadium. The living space is cute and tidy and the beds are comfy. There is a goreous deck at offers pretty views and is the perfect place for a glass of wine at sunset. And the owners were so nice and accommodating! I highly recommend this property. ( *My only caveat is that there are a lot of stairs to the house from the parking area that might be hard for an elderly person.)

We were in town for my sons college graduation. The house was amazing and the surroundings were gorgeous. Angela was so receptive and made sure we felt at home. Thank you for a perfect experience. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family had an incredible night at Pat’s home. Before even arriving just booking she answered my questions so fast. We stayed for a graduation from Radford, location is 20 min away. Perfect! When you arrive you pull around to these rolling green hills, the house is perched up, perfectly with a relaxing view. A porch wraps around the house, with rockers, a outdoor sofa and a cooler. Our family walked inside and our hearts melted, we felt at home, clean, everything and more you needed. Not one roll of tissue, no soap ect… you were not left frantic thinking you had to drop your bags and find a store. Instead we headed to the porch with a glass of wine. It was perfect. Pat left ideas for restaurants in Floyd, which we visited even the market. I would not only stay here again, but request any of her listings! Thank you for a great night for our graduate ♥️

Have stayed here multiple times during large event weekends at VT. Completely comfortable and beautiful home away from home. Kelly has been a gracious and accommodating host every weekend. He and his home are second to none.

Great get away with beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends celebrating a military promotion, graduation from VCOM, granddaughter’s birthday and time together. We may even do a reunion there at some point. One of our guests took the information to possibly book later.

Crystal’s house was the perfect place to stay with our extended family. We had some rain and so ended up staying more in the house than we thought we would and there was plenty of space to play games and hang out with the family. There was something for everyone from the outside patio areas to the trampoline and game room. We highly recommend staying here!

Birgit was wonderful throughout our entire stay! She welcomed us and recommended some really great restaurants nearby. Very peaceful neighborhood while still being within a short drive of downtown. Would absolutely stay again, thanks so much Birgit :)

We had a very nice stay at the Sunflower Suite. Patricia and Gene's place is super comfortable, quiet, and spotless. We felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the morning. We would happily stay here again.

Superb accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Apartment was spotless and had everything we needed plus more. Katrina and Karroll were incredibly friendly and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel very welcome with some lovely treats. If we’re back in this area we will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay at The Mill! The suite was far more spacious than we expected. Be sure to sleep with the windows open because the sound of the river reminds you of the beautiful setting in this charming town. The bed was very comfortable and there’s even a sitting area in the bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the picture windows that provided a stunning view. We loved the restoration story and handmade features. Marcia was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Susan and Tom’s Airbnb for over a year, and I can confidently say this has been the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From day one, they welcomed me with warmth and kindness, creating a true home away from home. Susan is an incredible host and a fantastic cook—her muffins, scones, and soups are absolutely delicious and something I’ll always remember fondly. She frequently invited me for dinners that were not only delicious but filled with wonderful conversations and laughter. Tom is equally wonderful—he’s someone I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. We had countless engaging chats, and his company was always thoughtful, interesting, and uplifting. He’s truly great to be around and made my stay all the more enjoyable. More than just hosts, Susan and Tom became like family. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—this is a rare gem of a place with two of the most wonderful hosts you could ever meet.

Thank you for a lovely and peaceful stay! The place and atmosphere is beautiful and serene. We especially loved the amazing out of this world dream shower!! The shower alone was worth the stay. I mean you gotta see this amazing spa like shower. Also the host was very kind and attentive and genuine. As far as I'm concerned this is a "must stay" if traveling thru the area. Thanks guys.

We loved it and felt right at home! We attended my son’s graduation from @RoanokeCollege and it was an easy drive! Mark was responsive and amazing the whole weekend! Highly recommend!! We will stay again for certain!!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! This was a lovely escape on a long road trip I was on, and I felt at ease immediately in the cute home that had a very cozy cabin vibe. Very spacious and clean. The nature outside was lovely. My only complaint: no soap of any kind was provided in the bathroom, which was not ideal after a long day of driving, other than a small, nearly empty bottle I found on a shelf with the towels. However, that was minor, and overall, our stay was fantastic!
